It’s not a real rose but I did enjoy making these, I wish I had tried to make some more interesting shapes like a beautiful #davidaustinrose #sugarcraftflowers I made these at a crafting with friends group the other night and had fun painting them at home with eatable food colouring gel and drinkable vodka! #craft #leicestershire #valentines #valeofbelvoir #flowerfarmer #seasonalblooms #eucalyptus #nottingham #freshflowers #freshflowersfridays #strawflowers #perennials #oldfashionedroses #localflowers #grantham #meltonmowbray #flowersfromthefarm #britishflowers #britishflowersweek
Trying out a vase made out of shampoo bottles, holds the Tulips I bought from Lincolnshire well, these vases can be used to take your flowers home in to keep them in water. Sale and return bases when our British grown not flown flower season starts in late Spring I might use them on my flower cart.
Sweet Valentine won’t thy be mine? I’ve managed to burn my fingers and have glue stuck to the ends of my fingers but the pain was worth it to eventually use some of the flowers I’ve festooned the garage with. Might make a nice afternoon workshop sometime. #driedflowerwreath #valentines #flowergrower #foliage #eucalyptus #mothersday #valeofbelvoir #ladiesthatlunch #craft #leicestershire #grownfromseeds #florist #creatingbeautifulthings #gardening #strawflowers
Sweet Valentine won’t thy be mine? Dried flower wreaths such fun to make. Maybe I should do a workshop 🤓
Lovely sunrise to watch as I drink my morning cup of tea. After a few minutes of enjoying, the sun rises properly the room gets filled with bright light and I think I might reach for the sunglasses 😎
The Cosy Club Lincoln We entered the building through and ordinary glass fronted shop door. Wasn’t expecting this when we climbed the stairs gob smacking
Spring flowers and a few catkins and twigs make a nice arrangement with cream double tulips. I love watching them open into glorious big flowers, the pink viburnum smells Devine. Some people like a lot of flounce round an arrangement. I’ve used a 100% recyclable vase made out of shampoo bottles, I suppose you can recycle the tissue paper and use the brown paper to wrap a parcel 🤔
The Drill Hall Eucalyptus varieties on display at the #flowersfromthefarm conference. We learnt so much about these complexes plants from a very knowledgable lady from #hardy-eucalyptus we have fifty growing on the farm so we’re very interested to learn about caring for our stock. #smithandmunson gave a brilliant and amusing insight into growing tulips. Today some remaining #flowersfromthefarm members went on a tour round their amazing #tulip growing units. We stud amazed a...t the glass houses filled with tulips at different stages of development. It was fascinating to watch the automated line that removes the bulbs with a squeeze, counts the tulips into bunches then carefully places them on to a moving belt to be wrapped. I watched some lovely double cream and pink tulips coming along the line and decided to bring a couple of wraps home. Thank you Linda Clark #spotteddogflowerco for making this two day event so enjoyable and informative. It was great to see Emma Parrot #country_cut_flowers and her amazing wreaths made out of jute string. #cuttingflowers #valeofbelvoir #flowers #eucalyptus #lincolnshire #leicestershire #nottingham #foliage #flowergrower #florists

Willow wreath with a bit of bling for Christmas
Loved making this willow wreath, finished it off with some foraged pheasant feathers
Willow and moss wreath using foliage from the garden and willow from around the pond.
I enjoyed making this willow wreath using some willow collected with fellow members of Flowers from the Farm at Beckingham Willow Works near Gainsborough
Enjoyed a busy evening at Harby Village Hall Leicestershire showing 32 local WI Ladies how to dress willow wreaths from willow grown on the farm and evergreen foliage and berries gathered from the garden. A great time was enjoyed by all the busy happy ladies. The willow wreaths can be re used again and again.
