Leicester Budokan

The Bushido School of Martial Arts offers a variety of traditional Japanese and Oriental Martial Arts.

Leicester Budokan was established in 2010. The Budokan offers a variety of traditional Japanese and Oriental Martial Arts both for self-defense, competition, spiritual development and fitness.

I have over 40 years of experience having trained most of his life in many different styles of martial arts and fighting systems. I therefore have the ability to guide you through personal development and self-awareness in martial arts and spiritual development.

Anybody can practice a martial art or study the way of Budo.
The school is open to everybody who wants to learn traditional martial arts which includes:

JAPANESE SYSTEMS:
Kendo, Iaido, Kenjutsu, Jo-jutsu, Bo-jutsu, Naginata-jutsu, Karate, Jujitsu and Kobudo.

OKINAWAN SYSTEMS:
Kobudo, Karate and Body Conditioning.

CHINESE SYSTEMS:
Five animal kempo, Chinese weapons and chi energy training.

The Main system is:
Fudomyo-o Shugendo /Shiden Fudo Ryu
Is a spiritual fighting system, based on similar techniques to Ninjutsu and the spiritual training of Shugendo.

The martial arts techniques which we teach are based on martial arts and budo fighting systems of ancient Japan. We have also combined Chinese and Okinawan techniques to make our style a more dynamic and powerful system.
Training with us you will gain confidence and a fighting spirit.
