We have had a great year at University of Leicester . I've had so much fun as the President and delighted to be re-elected. This year we was able to: Buy equipment for campaigns Campaign in the city and on campus (mainly Brexit) Run cross party events (in a time of political division) with bar crawls, quizzes and debates Expand the committee and membership numbers. ... Thank you for all that have supported us. The new committee for next year is as follows: Brenner Munden (president) Anwar Afhim (treasurer) Sammy Taylor (Vice-president) Cameron Thompson (Secretary) and Nathan Gubbins (Wellbeing)

Student action day on Campus, on behalf of OFOC and Labour Students, to campaign for a Peoples Vote on the Brexit deal

YL and Labour Students on behalf of OFOC are campaigning in the Labour Leicester city centre to get support for a Peoples Vote and to force Corbyn into agreeing to put a Peoples Vote in Labour's manifesto.

Congratulations to Leicester's very own Zuffar Haq for receiving his MBE. Shows that his hard work in the local community is recognised and absolutely crucial.

Vince Cable came to Oadby to answer many questions, ranging from Brexit to tuition fees. Had very interesting points and was a fantastic and knowledgeable event.
