I have the privilege to work with an amazing charity called Crossroads Together They are trying to reduce loneliness in the elderly. I’ve been into 5 care homes last week and giving them 5 one day old chicks each. They will have to feed them, clean them out and keep them warm until they are old enough to go outside. Once their little chicks are 20 weeks old they will lay an egg a day! I can honestly say my heart melted when I witnessed the residents holding them and learni...ng that they would now have to care for these tiny birds. They looked so excited!! It was an amazing moment. Please please share this post as we are wanted to get this project into as many homes as we can . Some of the residents from stansfield Hall care home ☺️🐥
