We meet on Mondays (except bank holidays) 6. 45pm - 10pm at 107 /115, Newark Road, Lincoln.
Lincoln Scrabble Club Description
Lots of people enjoy playing Scrabble. It has become even more popular with Facebook.
Our club has about twenty members, although we seldom have 100% turnout. We meet to play competitively in league games, but also make time for friendlies. Players of all ages with different skill levels are welcome to join us. You will need to give yourself time to get used to the rules and some new words, specified in the Collins Scrabble Word List.
We are all on a journey as players. Some of our members compete regularly in tournaments. Others take the game less seriously! Why not come, play some friendlies and see how you get on? The only way to improve your game is to play. Practice makes perfect!
Your first visit to the club is free. Thereafter the weekly subscription if you attend is just £4. We meet on Monday evenings from 6. 45 to 10. 00pm. We have moved to our new venue at Bridge Community Hub, 70B Newark Road, Lincoln, LN5 8NB. Boards, tiles, racks and refreshments provided.
