Our Horncastle crew will be at the Annual Charity Beer & Band Festival this Sunday, where they will be conducting a RTC demonstration at midday. The event is at The Bull Tapas Bar & Restaurant in Horncastle and is in aid of The Firefighters Charity.

Well done to our squash team! Over the bank holiday weekend, LFR was represented by 5 players at the British Fire and Rescue Squash and Racketball Nationals in Nottingham.
Ady Proctor won the main Racketball title and Jason Green was the runner up in the Racketball plate final. Mark Housam, Mark Richardson and Simon Jackson also represented LFR

Runners and walkers are the group at highest risk of accidental drowning in the UK so if you enjoy a walk or run near water take extra care after bad weather and make sure your route is still safe.

If you're on a night out make sure you plan your route home away from water. #Bewateraware In 2017 around 40% of accidental drownings involved drink and/ or drugs.
If you're out with your friends make sure you don't get separated so you all get home safely. Avoid going near water even if the path is well lit as you may be more unsteady on your feet than you think. #DrowningPreventionWeek2019
