Annual summary of key natural history findings made in Lincolnshire during 2018. Non-members welcome. Free entry but £1 parking fee.
Jack Perks on The Freshwater Fish of Britain. A free LNU talk at Whisby Education Centre near Lincoln, Saturday 10th November 2pm. There is a charge for drinks and parking. All welcome.
Great trip to the Sutton Bridge area on Sunday afternoon. 16 attendees enjoyed a good selection of flora and fauna including Wasp Spider, Short-winged Conehead, Bishops Mitre shielding, Zigzag Sawfly, various scarce weevils and a potential county firsts for a large pond skimmer species and a weevil. About 145 plants species included Strawberry Clover, Grass-leaved Orache, Black Poplar (with aphid gall), Sea Wormwood and Water-bent. Several late Swifts also flew over.

Field Meeting to this new reserve. Ancient woodland and ponds. Please car share if possible as restricted parking areas and protected road verges next to wood.
All welcome to come and discover what fascinating findings were made during 2017 in Lincolnshire. Review starts at 2pm but all welcome to bring lunch for a chat beforehand. There will be a variety of stands including book sales. Meet at Education Centre.
