Littles Travel Description

Whether it’s a week away on holiday, a day trip to the seaside, an evening out, a business trip or an educational visit we have the vehicle and driver for your needs. Our fleet of vehicles range in size from 16 seat mini coaches to 75 seat double deckers so what ever your party size we can help. we also run the W3 Nottingham works service and the 111 Derby Pride park Park and ride service.

Due to the on going road closure in Crich all our services are suffering with long delays.We apologise for the delay. the road should have reopened at 4pm but unfortunatley this has not happened.

Due to a car colliding with one of our vehicles, we are currently unable to operate the 142 service from Crich through to Neither Heage ,this incident will also affect the 13.04 from Neither Heage to Alfreton. We are very sorry for any problems this has caused . We hope to have things back to normal very soon.

This is the very best company we have used for our group booking . Clean efficient always on time with great safe drivers . We have used them for nearly two years for our monthly walks

Can’t agree with the negative comments here - I’ve travelled a lot on the 142 to and from Crich while my arm was broken. The drivers are very nice, friendly and the service they provide is reliable..particulary important for us as they provide our school bus service. My only criticism would be is that the windows are a tad dirty at times so I can’t see out properly and worry I’ll miss my stop!

In the last year I have been using the 150 and the 142 bus run. The 142 run is very reliable and the bus drivers are always on time and polite,chatty and they drive smoothley. Did have a issue where the bus broke down in crich, but the bus driver sorted it out with another bus, and the issue got sorted out in a hour. The 150 bus is always on time on a weekday morning, always have a smooth ride and the bus driver is always polite.

horrible bus company, left us stranded with children as bus never turned up, (not the first time either), some of the drivers are good blokes who are clearly overworked, others talk to you like your a piece of dirt off your shoe, I dnt like using this company but as they now have the contract for the Alfreton route i have no choice, bring back TM Travel!!!

Worst bus service ever! They had operational issues one day making them running 2 hourly each way instead of the normal and already useless hourly each way. When I eventually found out that the 9:30 bus wasn't running to hucknall, I waited for the one that left town at 10:30, 10:35 a bus with sorry not in service went past and then at 11 still no bus. When I rang I was told they wasn't sure what had happened and the next bus was going to be leaving town at 11:30. Leaving me standing at the bus stop for 4 hours after a 12 hour night shift. Absolutely the worst bus company ever and I will never be using them again id rather pay more and get on a bus that turns up!

This company are utterly discussing one of there drivers knocked my 16 year-old little brother off his moped when he was on his way to work the driver didnt use his indicator or anything and the company or driver arnt takeing any responsibility when it was the stupid drivers fault thay are just trying to blame my brother and trying yo say the bus driver didnt need to indicate even though he was turning at the time ��� its an absolute joke although hes hurt and his ped and protective clothing ar trashed luckily hes not in hospital or worse dead this happend near alfreton vets ����

Rudest bus drivers in Derbyshire especially on the Nether Heage routes. Drive too fast on narrow lanes, never a wave or thank you if you stop or reverse to let them through. Trent Barton are much better!!!!

Never EVER turns up. I've been late to college due to it. And when you've had a long day and you wanna get home and it's 2 hours before you get home, it's ridiculous!! It's not turned up for me 6 times now, so I've at times, resorted to getting the tram, tram has better service.

My child went on a school trip today. Unfortunately the school booked your company to take them. A little into the journey the bus driver stopped as he thought something was wrong with the bus.

Got back on, carried on driving. Broke down on the M1! Luckily he managed to get to the services.

However, he should never of carried on after the first time he stopped!,,

He put our children at risk by driving that bus. Your company put that driver and our children at risk by not doing all the relevant safety checks before it being taken out. Don’t try and tell me it was checked correctly because it couldn’t of been.

I’m utterly disgusted and so are many of the other parents.

I do hope that Larklands infant school will be receiving a gesture of goodwill by your company to give the children a treat as their school trip was ruined because of your negligence

Last Friday the 142 bus at 17:05 September 22 2017 through nether heage to belper failed to turn up, three times this has happened I emailed little's of course no response there was three people waiting in the rain this is not good enough we rely on these buses to get to work I'm on nights I lost a days pay cos the bus didn't turn up could be facing the sack for something that's not my fault the fucking buses are not turning up allways the same time on a Friday the last bus we never know if its going to come or not useless bus company needs to buck their ideas up

I’m absolutely disgusted at this company, my daughter had a school trip today, the driver stopped the coach shortly after the journey began believing there was something wrong, he then got back on saying everything was ok, several miles later whilst traveling on the motorway had to pull up in services and having to get a mechanic out because there was a problem, my question is, if there was a problem surely this should have been dealt with before entering a journey?? Entering a journey to Birmingham, 43 miles to be exact using motorways with a class of young children, with teachers and assistants surely there is a duty of care even if it means pulling up at the first instance of a problem and getting the adults and children off the coach, regardless of whether they’d be upset the safety of my and other children come before anything else!! I’m disgusted in what has happened today, I look forward to hearing a response.

Got to say not impressed, waiting for the 1922 140 bus at the fishpond in matlock bath. Bus sailed past us at the bus stop 13 mins early (or 1hr 17mins late if the earlier one) Rang to complain and got hung up on. Thanks a lot for a crap service.

At least twice the last 140 bus from South Wingfield to Alfreton has failed to turn up, so I've ended up walking all the way. Both times I've got to the stop at least 10 minutes before the bus was due, although in the past the last two Alfreton-bound buses have been known to run via Birches Lane in error instead of via Church Lane. The first time this happened I emailed Littles Travel and they said they would investigate and get back to me but they never did even though I sent them several reminders. I've emailed them about it not turning up last Saturday, and this time I've not even had an acknowledgement. I think I will contact them by snail mail as well and enclose a SAE. During the rest of the day I have generally found the 140/141/142 service to be pretty reliable, though.
