So today I have bitten the bullet and turned off the website. There are still quite a few Size 8 shoes available and a few Size 9, 10 & 11. May I take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me over the last 6 years, most of all my husband Neil 'Mac' MacLellan. It was always my dream to bring ...beautiful shoes to the larger footed lady and for a while it was great but sadly due to overheads it was not financially viable. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained and I have no regrets.
Hoping that large sizes will be available on the High Street in the near future...especially as I now have twin 9 year old daughters!

Very sad to learn this morning that Tallgirls have gone into liquidation. They were my inspiration for setting up Lou Lou Shoes over 5 years ago but I know first hand how challenging it is to survive as an independent trader with a niche product. I took the decision a year ago to wind up Lou Lou Shoes as it is so difficult to sell shoes online. As a consumer you never know which size to order and a style you might love may be completely wrong for your foot. As a retailer there are only a limited number of times you can dispatch a pair of shoes before they start to look battered before ever being bought!
