We've just returned home after a fantastic long Easter weekend at oyster cottage. The house,facilities and cleanliness is second to none. We had a great time and so did our 2 dogs. The weather may have let us down but the house certainly did not! Thank you so much, another fab family memory to look back on! We will be back in September xx ps mini eggs were lovely xx

We stayed in a New England beach house. It was perfect for us with all the provisions we needed. Beautifully designed and decorated and immaculately clean. The area was peaceful,and relaxing and the grass areas were ideal for the children to play out with great free flow in and out because of the bifold doors. We loved our daily walk down to the beach which stunning and clean. We will be returning to make more holiday memories.

We have just returned from our stay at Oyster Cottage and can honestly say we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is lovely and homely with everything you need and the location is spot on so we have booked again for next year at Sailors Rest.

We have just got back today from a weekend break at Oyster Cottage and can honestly say this is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed at. It was very clean and in a lovely location (not far from the beach). This beautiful holiday home is a credit to the owners who also went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Thank you for the bottle of wine it was a lovely touch to settle in with the log burner going, not to mention the Woodpack provided for the fire. Our 3 year old toddler loved the toy box he found under his bed so he could play and the variety of board games. He had us watching the toy story dvd and he thought the treasure chest in the living area was magic, he has an obsession with pirates at the minute so he thought this was fantastic as he kept peeping inside looking for treasure. It was a lovely home from home feel and we will most definitely book to stay again in the future. Thank you. 5 �����

We have just arrived home after a brilliant few days at Oyster Cottage. It's a beautiful cottage and has a wonderful feel. My family felt at home straight away, amazing little break and thank you for also going the extra mile and leaving a birthday card for my son. Very thoughtful. We had a wonderful weekend in The Lookout. A beautiful clean cottage in a great position to access the beach. The dogs loved it! Great communication from the lovely owners. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

We all had an amazing weekend away, definitely didn't want to come home today. The look out is in the perfect position, close to the beach and walking distance of the swimming pool, which the kids really enjoyed. The log burner made the nights in perfect. Will highly recommend and hope to visit again.

WOW!!! From the minute we arrived we loved this house so much. Fantastic view of the sea. The house had everything you could of asked for and more. It was both clean and comfortable. My only criticism is we had to come home!!!

If Carling made holiday homes this would be it. Fab fab fab

WOW!!! Absolutely amazing cottage, �. It was a surprise birthday weekend away for my partner who had no idea where we were going. He was absolutely in love from the minute we got here. It is in the most perfect position, not even 5 minutes and you are at the beech, which our two Springers absolutely adore!! Just a few minutes in the other direction and you are at the pub which amazingly takes dogs which is perfect for us!! The views when you wake up in the morning are just amazing, you can just open the curtains and look out to sea.

We are coming back in June but staying at the Oyster instead. I will certainly be booking the look cottage again for next year, �.

The house is in a prime position on 'Filey Bay' for dog walkers and families with a lovely walk down to one of the best beaches I know!!

Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning again!!

Stopped here last week (feb12th/17th 2018) it was brilliant.. the house we stopped in was lovely so clean and very homely. I took my 1 year old to the swimming baths on site and he loved it. The pub was very welcoming we enjoyed a few pints after a long day and my little one loved wondering round and stroking all the dogs. Would highly recommend staying here and would 100% come again!!

Stayed at Sailors Rest over half term week, what a beautiful place, so homely yet everything top spec. There is nothing you haven't thought of to make sure everyone's stay is as relaxing as possible.

Loved having the time to play connect 4, and especially loved all our little trick or treaters on Halloween. The area itself has so much to offer that we didn't get time to go down the path to the nearest beach as we were out everyday exploring and climbing lighthouse's. Will definitely be booking for next year, and know that no matter how many times we visit we will never get bored. Thank you so much.

Just got back from 4 day break at The Look Out cottage. We had a fabulous time. The sea view from the cottage balcony is simply beautiful, we watched the sun set and sun rise over the sea. The cottage was home from home, with everything you needed, very clean and modern. The vino and chocolates for the kids was a lovely added extra. We would definitely recommend.

The Bay as a resort was very relaxing, lovely beach, meadow-side lake to walk around and a football pitch for the kids. The local pub and Italian, the food is good in both, the onsite swimming pool and spar were great for the kids if the weather turned.

Also worth a visit is the Alpamare water park in Scarborough, great day out for the kids if they like slides and outdoor heated pools.

The location is brilliant for day trips to Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. Reminded us of our holidays to the east coast as children.

The Bay is next door to Primrose Valley and they have a new Lakeside Restaurant that is well worth a visit, and if your kids are adventurous their is tree trekking, paint balling, a mini fair, boating lake for water sports, so plenty to do.

Just been for a break at the Oyster Cottage. Really stunning property, so cosy and everything is there that you want even down to a dog dish. My first words when we walked in was WOW. Certainly didn't want to come home that's for sure. Highly recommended. Look forward to going again x

We have been coming to The Bay at Filey for a few years now but have always booked through the site this was our first time going through a private booking. This is by far the nicest property we have stayed in, lots of lovely personal touches and the cottage really does have the wow factor, highly recommended to anyone thinking about going to stay and we will definitely be booking again . Having looked at many properties at the Bay before booking Oyster Cottage I was sure I’d made the right decision. 2 minutes inside the door confirmed it. This is a beautifully kept holiday home. It has everything you need for your stay. From hotel quality bedding and towels to a kitchen cupboard already full of condiments for your fish and chips:-)



Both bedrooms upstairs lead out onto the beautiful glass balcony which offers amazing views over the meadow. The downstairs patio area offers a peaceful place to sit and relax.



Having walked the whole site looking at other properties of this size with balconies and views one of the only other comparable property is also Michael and Sharon’s! They clearly have good taste.



The site itself is beautifully kept and even when busy is still peaceful. Although no shop on site the pharmacy sells the basics and you’ve a well stocked Co-op 5 minutes drive away in Hunmanby.



We have used the new Bayside Kitchen which is a coffee shop during the day (coffee and a large slice of cake for £3.50 as at July 2018) and opens on an evening from 4th August as a pizza and tapas bar. The John Paul Jones next door offers standard pub grub and is open for breakfast onwards through till the late evening.



If you’re looking to eat out we can highly recommend:



San Marco Italian in Filey (call them to book your table) for delicious food at very reasonable prices.



Once you’ve eaten there make sure you try the Boat Shed just up the road for their fabulous gins and cocktails (the food there is also worth going for).



Kayleigh’s cafe bar - great breakfasts and a 5 star hygiene rating. Everything fresh cooked to order.



For fish and chips try Inghams in the town. They have a restaurant and takeaway. Don’t be put off if there’s a queue it’s only because they’re so delicious and it moves quickly.

Had a really lovely week at the new beach house. The sun was shining so great base to nearby places like whitby and scarborough and a short path walk to the beach. House had everything you need and a lovely woodburner for cooler evenings. Appreciate the board games, dvds, wine and chocs left. Very close to the pub and leisure centre which was handy and no noise issues from them. The dog was able to stay and we hope to stay again soon. Thanks.

Absolutely loved our long weekend staying here, the house is stunning - spotlessly clean, modern, and everything you need to make your time there enjoyable! The location is perfect, gorgeous views and only a short walk to the gorgeous beach. Would 100% recommend this place and already looking forward to visiting again ❤️

House had everything you need and a lovely woodburner for cooler evenings. Appreciate the board games, dvds, wine and chocs left. Very close to the pub and leisure centre which was handy and no noise issues from them. The dog was able to stay and we hope to stay again soon. Thanks.

Absolutely loved our long weekend staying here, the house is stunning - spotlessly clean, modern, and everything you need to make your time there enjoyable! The location is perfect, gorgeous views and only a short walk to the gorgeous beach. Would 100% recommend this place and already looking forward to visiting again ❤️

We've just returned home after a fantastic long Easter weekend at oyster cottage. The house,facilities and cleanliness is second to none. We had a great time and so did our 2 dogs. We stayed in a New England beach house. It was perfect for us with all the provisions we needed. Beautifully designed and decorated and immaculately clean. The area was peaceful,and relaxing and the grass areas were ideal for the children to play out with great free flow in and out because of the bifold doors. We loved our daily walk down to the beach which stunning and clean. We will be returning to make more holiday memories.

We have just returned from our stay at Oyster Cottage and can honestly say we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is lovely and homely with everything you need and the location is spot on so we have booked again for next year at Sailors Rest.

We have just got back today from a weekend break at Oyster Cottage and can honestly say this is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed at. It was very clean and in a lovely location (not far from the beach). This beautiful holiday home is a credit to the owners who also went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Thank you for the bottle of wine it was a lovely touch to settle in with the log burner going, not to mention the Woodpack provided for the fire. Our 3 year old toddler loved the toy box he found under his bed so he could play and the variety of board games. He had us watching the toy story dvd and he thought the treasure chest in the living area was magic, he has an obsession with pirates at the minute so he thought this was fantastic as he kept peeping inside looking for treasure. It was a lovely home from home feel and we will most definitely book to stay again in the future. Thank you. 5 �����

We have just arrived home after a brilliant few days at Oyster Cottage. It's a beautiful cottage and has a wonderful feel. My family felt at home straight away, amazing little break and thank you for also going the extra mile and leaving a birthday card for my son. Very thoughtful. We had a wonderful weekend in The Lookout. A beautiful clean cottage in a great position to access the beach. The dogs loved it! Great communication from the lovely owners. Book it, you will not be disappointed!

We all had an amazing weekend away, definitely didn't want to come home today. The look out is in the perfect position, close to the beach and walking distance of the swimming pool, which the kids really enjoyed. The log burner made the nights in perfect. Will highly recommend and hope to visit again.

WOW!!! From the minute we arrived we loved this house so much. Fantastic view of the sea. The house had everything you could of asked for and more. It was both clean and comfortable. My only criticism is we had to come home!!!

WOW!!! Absolutely amazing cottage, �. It was a surprise birthday weekend away for my partner who had no idea where we were going. He was absolutely in love from the minute we got here. It is in the most perfect position, not even 5 minutes and you are at the beech, which our two Springers absolutely adore!! Just a few minutes in the other direction and you are at the pub which amazingly takes dogs which is perfect for us!! The views when you wake up in the morning are just amazing, you can just open the curtains and look out to sea.

We are coming back in June but staying at the Oyster instead. I will certainly be booking the look cottage again for next year, �.

The house is in a prime position on 'Filey Bay' for dog walkers and families with a lovely walk down to one of the best beaches I know!!

Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning again!!

Stopped here last week (feb12th/17th 2018) it was brilliant.. the house we stopped in was lovely so clean and very homely. I took my 1 year old to the swimming baths on site and he loved it. The pub was very welcoming we enjoyed a few pints after a long day and my little one loved wondering round and stroking all the dogs. Would highly recommend staying here and would 100% come again!!

Stayed at Sailors Rest over half term week, what a beautiful place, so homely yet everything top spec. There is nothing you haven't thought of to make sure everyone's stay is as relaxing as possible.

Loved having the time to play connect 4, and especially loved all our little trick or treaters on Halloween. The area itself has so much to offer that we didn't get time to go down the path to the nearest beach as we were out everyday exploring and climbing lighthouse's. Will definitely be booking for next year, and know that no matter how many times we visit we will never get bored. Thank you so much.

Just got back from 4 day break at The Look Out cottage. We had a fabulous time. The sea view from the cottage balcony is simply beautiful, we watched the sun set and sun rise over the sea. The cottage was home from home, with everything you needed, very clean and modern. The vino and chocolates for the kids was a lovely added extra. We would definitely recommend.

The Bay as a resort was very relaxing, lovely beach, meadow-side lake to walk around and a football pitch for the kids. The local pub and Italian, the food is good in both, the onsite swimming pool and spar were great for the kids if the weather turned.

Also worth a visit is the Alpamare water park in Scarborough, great day out for the kids if they like slides and outdoor heated pools.

The location is brilliant for day trips to Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. Reminded us of our holidays to the east coast as children.

The Bay is next door to Primrose Valley and they have a new Lakeside Restaurant that is well worth a visit, and if your kids are adventurous their is tree trekking, paint balling, a mini fair, boating lake for water sports, so plenty to do.

Just been for a break at the Oyster Cottage. Really stunning property, so cosy and everything is there that you want even down to a dog dish. My first words when we walked in was WOW. Certainly didn't want to come home that's for sure. Highly recommended. Look forward to going again x

Just arrived home after a lovely weekend staying in The Oyster Cottage. We have been coming to The Bay at Filey for a few years now but have always booked through the site this was our first time going through a private booking. This is by far the nicest property we have stayed in, lots of lovely personal touches and the cottage really does have the wow factor, highly recommended to anyone thinking about going to stay and we will definitely be booking again . Thank you for the bottle of wine and yummy sweets that welcomed us on our arrival and our only complaint is that the weekend just went to quickly!! X

Having looked at many properties at the Bay before booking Oyster Cottage I was sure I’d made the right decision. 2 minutes inside the door confirmed it. This is a beautifully kept holiday home. It has everything you need for your stay. From hotel quality bedding and towels to a kitchen cupboard already full of condiments for your fish and chips:-)



Both bedrooms upstairs lead out onto the beautiful glass balcony which offers amazing views over the meadow. The downstairs patio area offers a peaceful place to sit and relax.



Having walked the whole site looking at other properties of this size with balconies and views one of the only other comparable property is also Michael and Sharon’s! They clearly have good taste.



The site itself is beautifully kept and even when busy is still peaceful. Although no shop on site the pharmacy sells the basics and you’ve a well stocked Co-op 5 minutes drive away in Hunmanby.



We have used the new Bayside Kitchen which is a coffee shop during the day (coffee and a large slice of cake for £3.50 as at July 2018) and opens on an evening from 4th August as a pizza and tapas bar. The John Paul Jones next door offers standard pub grub and is open for breakfast onwards through till the late evening.



If you’re looking to eat out we can highly recommend:



San Marco Italian in Filey (call them to book your table) for delicious food at very reasonable prices.



Once you’ve eaten there make sure you try the Boat Shed just up the road for their fabulous gins and cocktails (the food there is also worth going for).



Kayleigh’s cafe bar - great breakfasts and a 5 star hygiene rating. Everything fresh cooked to order.



For fish and chips try Inghams in the town. They have a restaurant and takeaway. Don’t be put off if there’s a queue it’s only because they’re so delicious and it moves quickly.
