Went to my work party last night and as the only vegetarian it can sometimes be a problem. Not in this case however had a huge variety of delicious canapés that were hand delivered to me personally. Made to feel important rather than a pain. Thank you David and team, very much appreciated.

We live in London but were visiting family near Alfreton and discovered this gem by pure chance. After a delicious breakfast I caught sight of the scones. White chocolate and blueberry to be exact. Well I miraculously found room for one and literally died and went to heaven. They were sublime and possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The service was fantastic and the cafe itself lovely. Very impressed!

We decided to have our wedding reception at made at 18, their first ever one. Pre wedding planning by David and the staff was next to none. The day itself took everyone back, David your staff are a credit to you, the food and the service was amazing. Would recommend to anyone know matter what the event or just visiting for breakfast or tea ect. 5 STAR TREATMENT.

We came for a Hen Party and had a fabulous evening great food and excellent service. Thank you XX

The best gluten free afternoon tea I have had. Fantastic selection efficient, professional service with a smile. We were a large party with various dietary requirements and Grace and Harry couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely delicious. Thank you.

Had our 1st visit today to Made at No. 18, I was treated to Afternoon tea by my daughter, the food was lovely and amazing homemade cakes, David was very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, he even took the time to show us around and told us about his plans for the future. Hope everything goes well. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

First time I've visited today got seated straight away, staff very friendly. Hot chocolate marshmallows and cream was delicious. Along with the cherry �scone. Will definitely be popping in again. ��

It started off very good. When we walked in the waitress greeted us and let us sit at a table for six, although there were only two of us. We told her we were wanting a light lunch and a freak shake. Therefore you will see later she knew we weren't just there for a lunch. After looking.at the menu we asked if we could share quiche and salad. It was brought out on 2 plates, so far were impressed as that was a nice thought. Coffee was amazing too. Now this is when it started to go downhill as the quiche was supposed to be caramelized onion and chive, it was tasteless. We then sat there and sat there waiting for the waitress to ask if we'd finished and if we wanted anything else. Eventually I had to go and find her and ask if we could order. Btw she was sitting down eating her lunch!!!! She took our order for the freak shakes and left the dirty plates on the table. A waiter brought the shakes to us and also left the dirty plates on the table. When we had finished I had to find her again to ask for the bill. This time they were all sat round a table having a cosy chat!!! My friend and I go out a couple of times a week and tbought we had found a little gem but we won't be returning. As this is a small independent restaurant in a not very booming town it's a shame as we would have told friends about it but we won't now. This sort of place needs all the good free advertising it can get the owner should ensure they are doing their job properly. Have to say they weren't even rushed off their feet as we were the only ones in there. Btw the freak shake wasn't good either, I can do a better one far cheaper
