Morning all! Here is what was meant to be my #throwbackthursday in the week but Thursday has been and gone as it was also the day I hurled my phone into oblivion which amounted a plus £300 repair bill! Anyway, back to the piece, do you like the rainbow design? 🌈 Fingers crossed you do as I’m working on something quite similar today, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it right?! This is all Annie Sloan Paint, some of the colours are mixed and then it has been carefully varnished to give a hardwearing, modern finish! Have a great weekend x C

Evening all! Just sharing the latest piece; it's a lovely large and tall set of vintage oak drawers, circa 1930s with the most gorgeous bee shaped handles. I have never seen these beauties before have you? I'm slightly obsessed with handles 😜 This is Amsterdam Green then Duck Egg with Clear and Black wax for a chic but feminine look, hope you like, Now available, Christmas delivery is still possible but you will have to be quick!

In today's news... I'm so in love with these handles, you just can't beat this 1930's loveliness, my absolute favourite era for hardware and these have been given a festive twist with Annie Sloan Warm Gold gilding wax... bling bling; 💎💎💎 The set of drawers had a change of colour in the end but now I'm happy, watch this space!

So there are no Christmas decorations allowed in our house until I have finally finished decorating the lounge... there I said it, it's official! 😉 As a result I've been painting walls today and instead of a finished project here is a piece I have sold this weekend. To be honest it's a personal favourite of mine so I am not too suprised it's gone; ahhhhhhhh..... this green, it's too much!!! 😍😍😍

A cheeky close up this morning; this part I reworked over and over.. and over; it was the part I was most unsure about and now it's my favourite bit 😅 Today I'll be working on something more straight forward so I've got a gorgeous set of tall drawers to work on which I'll be treating to some Amsterdam Green I think, but that could change... who knows?!!

Ta dah, I give you Charleston Farmhouse with a bit of Chloe thrown in. I was inspired by the new Charleston Gift Set from Annie Sloan which features Firle one of the new colours 💚 Some may love this ( I hope you do) 🤞 for others it won't be your cup of tea but what I try to reflect with my work is creativity; never get stuck in a box and let there be no limits to your imagination! Evening all, I had a date with my paintbrush today, lucky me! There is still waxing to do but here is a glimpse of my Charleston Farmhouse inspired Chest of Drawers. I handpainted this with the Annie Sloan new gift set which features Firle the new colour, Old White and Scandinavian Pink, definitely a colour palette made for each other; and there are a few extra's because I just couldn't help it; Arles, Burgundy and Amsterdam Green, watch this space for the finished piece 👀

Finally breaking open this gorgeous little tin of Firle and I'm so excited by this colour, love love love it! Think I've got a plan now🤞 and naturally I have been hugely inspired by the Charleston Farmhouse but equally I want to put a tiny bit of Chloe in this project, will have to see how things turn out, best laid plans and all that! 😉

This lovely solid oak bureau needed a modern twist but not too much of one if you know what I mean! To update I sanded the whole thing to bring out the patina then used an AS whitewash in diluted Pure with White wax to seal. Sometimes simple is beautiful!

Look at this pair, too cool for school I reckon 😎 They have a 'interesting' laminate finish on them but the shape of these is so so good it'a well worth the effort; I'll be giving these a spruce up and I'm thinking wood legs, blush pink and gold maybe?? What would you do with them?!

Hey all 🙋‍♀️ here's a sneak peek of the next project, I loved this piece when I first saw it and it was great quality too so the transformation had to be quite sympathetic; I chose a whitewash which involved a lot of sanding, AS Pure diluted and White Wax, hoping you like the end result🤞 when the sun decides to show itself again, I'll get this one snapped properly!

Time for a #throwbackthursday! This is about 3 years ago I think, can anyone spot the colour? Shouldn't be hard as it's one of my faves! 🙌 Just to say aswell, I have a similar bureau in stock so if you fancy a commission before Christmas, please get in touch, it could be pink, yellow, green... you name it!
