This week at Toddler Tuesday (20th Nov 2018), we enjoyed a visit from Merlin, one of our Tawny Owls. We felt how soft his feathers are, listened to the ‘Owl Babies’ story and then made our very own baby owls to take home.
Next week, we'll be visited by some piglets and our story will be ‘The Three Little Pigs’. Come along and meet them 🐷 (As the weather is getting colder, we'll be in one of our heated rooms for the story - meet in the Play Barn as usual.)

Thank you to all our tots who came to Toddler Tuesday this week (13th November 2018). This Tuesday we met and stroked a special little lamb that was born two weeks ago. It was lovely to feel how soft its fleece was. After a story about a little lamb and a sing song, we made sheep pictures to take home.

User

User

what a great day we had. really good value for money and not I felt commercialised. good selection of animals with well planned activities . great place for under 8's . lots of space and lots of play areas. this is a place we will go back to again and again. I have seen the comments about it being expensive , however I disagree and this is based on other places I have been that are not as good and more expensive. But also because most of the animals are rescuse animals and so tend to come with more expensive needs. manor park are tending to these needs and are not just running this park for commercial gain. we had a lovely picnic and there were plenty of places to eat. the staff were excellent , polite and knowledgeable . Brilliant fun

User

We’re currently in our 5th year of membership at Manor Farm and we still love the place. I had wondered when my children would tire of coming here but my daughter is 6 now and she still enjoys coming here, especially the special event days they run. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and approachable and with the recent upgrades to facilities over the last couple of years I feel like the farm is developing alongside my children. The new top playground is brilliant, although the old one will always hold a special place in my heart having watched my children grow up playing on it. We always take a picnic as there are so many lovely spots to eat it and nothing quite beats spending a lazy sunny afternoon down at the play fort.

User

We have just visited the new Cafe/restaurant and were very impressed. The building is beautifully done and the food was great! We will definitely be coming back again to try out the breakfast menu.

User

We have been here a few times and just recently been on the bank holiday one of the best farms I have personally been to, as you can spend all day here which we do when we go,there is so much to do with 3 play areas for the kids, with loads of animals to see and there is a lot of space to walk around and for the price it is spot on we paid £30 for family of 4 and for all day that is nothing compared to other farms I've been to and paid well over £30 to stay for about 2 hours.. defiantly worth taking a picnic as there's so many spots you can go to eat it, they have food on site it ain't to expensive but it's what you would expect as it's a family run business and you do have to pay separate for donkey and owl holding which I think it's all for a great cause as it goes to animal charitys and for only a £1 a time is nothing. Keep up the fantastic place you have there and can't wait to come back to see the new entrance and cafe

User

We had our daughters 7th Birthday party here today and couldn't have asked for more. It was such a lovely set up and we were completely looked after from the moment we arrived until we left the farm. They made sure everything was OK throughout the party and led the party children smoothly and easily from one activity to the next! I can't recommend the farm and staff highly enough. They are always very friendly, approachable and I look forward to our next visit. Thank you to everyone who was involved in Katies party today xx You do a great job :-)!

User

We had our 2nd visit to the farm on Thursday, we treated our son for his birthday. Safe to say we all had a fantastic day! So much to do and see on the farm, constantly running activities, play areas have been refurbished and extended which my son was pleased about. The owl holding isnt available on Thursdays which was a shame but is clearly stated on the website and it means we will have to come again! There were alot of school trips in on the same day and even though the staff were busy all day, they still stopped to talk to us and made us feel welcome and even gave us one to one time to talk to us about the animals and the farm which made our experience better this time! We will definitely be returning to see all the animals again soon

User

We had my sons 5th birthday party at Manor Farm on Saturday 4th August and we were not disappointed.

From the moment I made the call to enquirer, I was impressed. Sarah was thorough with the information she shared, answering all of my questions before I had a chance to ask.

They sent out invitations in the post, which included one free adult per guest as well as free entry for Mum, Dad and four other adults for the birthday child.

The party itself had party chaperones and they were excellent, they kept the children thoroughly entertained throughout the day and took responsibility for looking after them which took the pressure of the parents.

We had donkey rides, fed the ducks and goats, rode the milkfloat around the farm to the playground and fort and back before we had lunch.

The lunch was more than enough and well balanced.

Each child was given a small toy and free return pass at the end of the party and invited to continue their visit if they wished until closing time.

All the parents commented on how great the party had been and were even considering having their own children’s parties here.

I would highly recommend to any parents considering a party at this venue. It was excellent value for money!!

User

We all had such a fantastic day! Mammar, my two children and my self had a fantastic day at the Easter event! Despite the weather every little attention to detail was maintained, extremely helpful staff, amazing performance when the two sheep got married! Thoroughly enjoyed every second of it! Congratulations and a big well done to the staff that made this day an amazing event for us all! X

User

Thank you for a fabulous time at the superhero event! We all had a great time. Very impressed with the whole place, the staff and also the effort that had gone into the event.

User

Really enjoyed manor farm with my daughters today lots of fun to be had!!! She absolutely loved the woodland play area and would of spent a hours there. She loved seeing all the animals too. Staff really friendly and helpful too. We will be visiting again soon.

User

My two (5&8) always choose to come here every school holiday and we weren’t disappointed this half term. The superhero theme was wonderful and the crafts and superhero training school were just amazing!! We only live down the road and this will always be a staple of our hols as we always have a great time. We spent nearly all day there and loved it. Thank you x

User

My husband and our 4 children all loved this place , such a friendly lovely place to go and plenty to keep kids of all ages entertained , reasonably priced too including the food and drink , would definitely visit again it was prefect

User

Have been visiting for some time and can also speak of high praises. It's a well run Family environment park and our kids have loved every visit since babies and now 6yrs/8yrs. There plenty to do for all ages and can easily spend a full day! The new barn with cafe/restaurant is must try and a special mention to the new menu. The Fries are out of this world. Thoroughly recommend to all for a fun day out!

User

Fantastic place ! Lots for children to explore ! Great play areas something for allages from toddlers to 10 years! Cafe was lovely ,food reasonably priced and very clean !All the animals looked well cared for! Agreat day out !

User

Brought my almost 2 year old. She loved it...the new cafe and facilities have been done to a high standard and I would just visit the cafe if I was in the area and wanted lunch/coffee.

I had a full English breakfast which was lovely, clearly had quality produce. The way the farm is set out is perfect, just the right size not too big. Very clean and the animals are clean well looked after. My only constructive feedback would be to look at the pricing of children under school age, brilliant that's it's free for under 2, but over 2 is £1 less than an adult which I find is a tad too much.

User

We visited today with my two children. Weather was up and down but that’s to be expected for this time of year. On a whole we had a fab day. Thenladynon entry was really lovely which put us in a great mood to start with. The lady in the cafe was pleasant and welcoming and is doing a great job. We had a couple of rides on Ernie the milk float in which both of my children loved. Saw some lovely animals and had a lovely walk around. Look forward to coming again soon in summer.

User

We visited on 04/08/18, our first visit for a couple of months and since the new Antlers renovation. As always the Farm Park itself was a joy to spend our day in, we love the look of the new Antlers and gift shop and the food was delicious, although a bit pricey particularly for portion sizes given.

Whilst we appreciate with the new renovations prices will go up, I do feel the price for a 2.5-year-old is super expensive and would like to see prices for 2 - 5-year-olds be more realistic and reasonable in the future, as it's such a steep rise from the previous price. The children's prices, in general, are now very, very high and I fear this will massively price out many families who would have previously been dedicated visitors over the years and families with more than one child. Please do consider the prices for children, it'd be great to see this changed.

User

We brought our 3 year old daughter to the farm for her birthday today, and we had such a lovely time. At first we were disappointed that there weren't many opportunities to hand feed the animals, only at set times, however we completely understand the reasoning behind this. My daughter loved her donkey ride, and there is just so much to see and space to run around in! I was so impressed with how well the animals are looked after, and how many are rescues. My daughter was particularly concerned about Poppy the owl! The cafe is very reasonably priced and the food was yummy. My only slight criticism is the pricing structure - at only £1 less than adults, I do feel admission for children is set too high.

User

Spent the day at the farm and the children had a good time . I dont think its worth £30 for a family ticket in my opinion , because you also have to pay for the donkey rides and holding a owl . Because it was a cold day we didnt bring a picnic so we have lunch at the cafe and it come to £20 just for 2 childrens lunch boxs and 2 ham baguettes ,also the cafe is very small for the amount of people that was there so i cant even imagen what its like in the summer days . But overall the children had a good time

User

what a great day we had. really good value for money and not I felt commercialised. good selection of animals with well planned activities . great place for under 8's . lots of space and lots of play areas. this is a place we will go back to again and again.

Thank you x
