At MAP we believe in understanding the real issues that our students face with pharmaceutical calculations. We then identify why that problem exists, and finally develop solutions and unique methods to solve those problems.

Though I am able to do some types of pharmaceutical calculations, I was scared and not confident as I was really struggling to recognise the question. I was also struggling to solve the question quickly enough. I was very worried about the new style of exam as there will no longer be mcqs, and if I don't understand the question, I can easily make mistakes. Therefore I decided to join the MAP calculations course. I am now able to easily recognise the question type and how to solve the question quickly and easily. My tutor was very helpful and I thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, her teaching skills and techniques enabled me to do all kinds of calculations with ease and very quickly. The new methods and techniques I have learnt will help me to succeed in the exam and also help me in my future pharmacy career. I am confident that if I follow my tutor's advice and techniques, I will not make any mistakes at all in the exam. Thank you very much to my tutor for all your help and support. MAP, please keep continuing your support so all students can benefit!

I was recommended the MAP course by a friend for June 2016, however I did not attend the course, as it was my first attempt and I didn't think I was too bad at calculations, yet I failed by a few marks. I was afraid for September, and knew I needed some help. I had already attended other courses that were more popular before my June exam, so I was not convinced that this course would be anything different. But, I desperately needed help with calculations, and MAP was the only place that offered a calculations course, so I went for it. As soon as I attended the first session, I knew this course was different. The way in which calculations were explained have never taught to me like this anywhere else or even in textbooks. I was taught how to understand questions, new methods to solve questions, and how to filter information. The study material was like having university lecture notes for all the calculation topics. I wish I'd attended earlier, but was glad I went in the end. After completing the course, I sat the September 2016 exam. And god help those who sat it! I was one of the lucky few that passed in the calculations paper. One thing I will advise to first attempt students, is that if you are not great with calculations, then don't take a chance because there is so much more pressure when it is your 2nd attempt...So thank you MAP and the brilliant tutors for all your help and support! I definitely recommend you to anyone looking for calculations help.

I was a student struggling with what i thought were some types of pharmacy calculations. I have had only three tuition sessions with Misha and already I am finding that my technique and understanding of these types of calculations has already improved. I can guarantee that by the end of the course I will be able to complete any calculation that I am asked in the up and coming 2016 exam. I recommend MAP pharmacy calculation tutorial sessions to every student even in there last year of pharmacy degree and from those that are due to sit the fast approaching Junes 2016 pre-registration exam!

I have found the MAP course to be brilliant. It goes through each topic in detail. I felt as though it was not rushed at all, as I have found with other courses. Definitely recommended. I found that the Dilutions chapter was very well explained.

User

I have always been confident in my ability in calculations. However my results in the exam stated otherwise. With the new assessment having no MCQs for calculations I felt that I should start to develop more of a method that I can double check on paper rather than doing most of the question in my head. These classes did just that, I was able to identify my weaknesses from the past papers I done and also identify the different types of questions and use a more methodical approach to calculations. All the classes were taught really well and lots of examples of questions were given for practice.

User

I found this course to be very well thought out and taught. The course tutors go through the topics in detail and are more than happy to answer any type of questions. I am very happy to have attended as my understanding of the concept behind the questions is much clearer. Thank you very much, Pankaj Dhingra and misha!

User

I found these calculations extremely useful. Every single type of question was covered to its max complexity and it really helped (now it explains why you said we'd get a voucher if we pass :P). In addition to this, there was a thorough explanation of each answer and everyone shared their techniques which is always useful if you cannot understand one method. I would definitely recommend this to others. Thanks a lot for your time and help!

I found the crash course today very helpful. Not only did they provide me with techniques to understanding what the question types are, but also a method to easily (and quickly) get the answer. It also identified an area of improvement that I didn't know I needed! I'm glad I attended! :)
