If you have not played golf before but would like to give it a try, our 'Get Into Golf' membership could be just right for you!
After an initial assessment by our Club Professional, Jon Newham, there is the opportunity of joining the golf club as a Get Into Golf member for up to 3 years: 1st year: £150 2nd year £250... 3rd year £350
After paying the 1st year's subscription, 2 FREE LESSONS will be given by the Club Professional.

Here is a brief summary of the 2019 rule changes. If you are a Mapperley member and want to find out more about these rules and others why not come to the Rules Evening on 22nd January at 7.30pm.

With only 12 days until the new rules of golf come into force, here is a refresher on penalty areas (the new name for water hazards).
And don’t forget that all penalty areas at Mapperley are now designated red, giving the additional lateral relief option.

Well done Lady Captain and Cameron for winning the Christmas Mixed Competition today. The weather was lovely - who would believe it’s December! Thanks to everyone who’s supported these competitions this year.

Who says golf is boring? Competitors in the human Christmas tree competition. We all had 'treemendous' fun!

First of all thank you Maria T for donating a lovely doll to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease last evening at our annual ladies fun night. We raised £55 and the winner of the doll was Angela J. I will add the proceeds of the scarf sale to this which takes the total to £100. Thank you to all who contributed. Well done to Rose and Kath for running the fun night and trust everyone enjoyed themselves. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. Susan

I’ve made some more infinity scarves. They are all lightweight fabric (not fleece). I have two of each colour and I am selling them for £5 each to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease. If you would like one please respond to this post and I will save one for you. Thank you - Susan

It’s that time again where I do a little fundraising for charity. I’ve made some fabric Christmas gift bags (big enough to fit a bottle of wine in). They are £1 each like last year. I’ve also made some fabric mug rugs (otherwise known as coasters!). They are 75p each. I will bring them with me to the club on Tuesday if anyone wants one. As always, thank you for your support.... Past, Present and Future Captains’ Trophy competition. Thank you to all 21 ladies who played in the competition this morning. The weather wasn’t very good but we carried on regardless. Well done to the Lady Captain’s team who won the trophy and to Angela for scoring the most points!
