Enjoy the little luxuries on board the elegant, spacious flagship of the CMV fleet, and spend a day wandering the harbour and streets of the historic Dutch port of Rotterdam.
FULL ITINERARY
Day One: Depart London Tilbury Board Columbus in Tilbury today, and settle in to your cabin as the ship prepares to set sail.
Day Two: Rotterdam Columbus reaches her first port of call today: the Dutch maritime city of Rotterdam. Step ashore to see the stunning architecture of the Erasmus Bridge and the remarkable Markthal food market. Browse the World-class museums, explore the lovingly preserved Old Harbour and stroll past nearby Delfshaven's step-gabled houses and ancient wharves.
Day Three: At sea Spend today relaxing, and getting to know the ship, her crew and your fellow passengers.
Day Four: Eidfjord and Hardangerfjord Enjoy spectacular scenery as Columbus cruises through the 100km-long Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Here you can go ashore to enjoy an optional excursion through the beautiful surrounding countryside, perhaps taking in the famous Voringfossen waterfalls.
Day Five: Flam and Sognefjord The tiny village of Flam, at the inner end of Aurlandsfjord, welcomes Columbus today. Here you'll have the chance to board the world-famous Flamsbana Mountain Railway for the journey to Myrdal. Later this afternoon, the ship navigates her way into stunning Naeroyfjord where some of fjordland's prettiest scenery awaits.
Day Six: Bergen Compact and friendly, Bergen was once a great trading city within the Hanseatic League. It remains Norway's second city and, despite being sheltered from the sea by its seven hills and outlying islands, is unashamedly nautical in outlook. Visit the vibrant harbour and fish market, stroll past the wooden warehouses of Bryggen and take the Floibanen funicular to the summit of 'Mount' Floyen.
Day Seven: At sea A final day at sea, reliving the memories of your cruise holiday.
Day Eight: Arrive London Tilbury Bid farewell to Columbus and all your fellow travellers, today, as you disembark at the end of your cruise.
