One of our Christmas parties featuring our amazing belly dancer, Laura Mazlum

Y.U.M.M.Y we had the charcoal set menu - masses of delicious food. U get a wide selection of mezze + dips, then choose ur main. I had sea bass + rice, marinated in spices. It was very tasty without being too chilified & no bones, then baklava to finish. Staff were very warm & friendly. We will definitely be going back.

What a fabulous little place this is. Lovely, authentic decoration, friendly staff who were happy to explain what the food was. Not a massive menu but enough to choose from which I prefer as you can clearly see (and taste) that thought and effort goes in to what we had made for us. Not rushed to decide what we wanted either, nice and relaxed. Would definitely eat here again. Final point, on the menu there is a "Baby Chicken" main course......it is no way baby, it was a whole chicken which was gorgeous !!

Went for the first time for my mom's birthday. They overheard that it was and surprised us with four pieces of baklava (we were a party of 4) with candles in them and Birthday music at the end! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was very attentive. Will definitely be going back!

Well, what can I say about this Moroccan culinary delight of a restaurant? It’s the best I’ve tasted, so much so twice now I’ve travelled to this establishment in Nottingham from out of town and I have not been disappointed, staff are friendly, food divine, well worth a visit, don’t delay try it out, an authentic Moroccan meal experience!!

We went out for a meal with a friend last night, having heard several vegetarian friends recommend Marrakesh, and the whole experience was really lovely from start to finish.

Our friend was later than planned so we had a nice relaxing drink in the bar area while we perused the many vegetarian choices on the menu.

When we were ready to order, the waiter could not be helpful enough - he suggested an amendment which was perfect, and was able to suggest how to combine the different flavours of the mezze starters to compliment each other perfectly. At the same time, he was attentive without being at all over-bearing.

The whole experience was delightfully relaxed, and we all agreed that Marrakesh was the best restaurant we have visited in Nottingham (quite a feat when we go to so many!)

We are looking forward to returning already!

We went at lunchtime and had the meze. The food was excellent, full of flavour but portions too big-others may not think so! Service was very friendly and efficient. We have eaten here before and will do so again.

We visited Nottingham & stumbled across this place. The service was great & managed to cater for me & my girlfriend who are both vegan. Perfect food at an incredibly low price.

We can thoroughly recommend this restaurant, the food was delicious, freshly cooked, beautifully presented & very tasty.

We will definitely go there again when we next revisit Nottingham.

Nipped in after having a quick look at the menu online just had a main course and a non alcoholic fruit cocktail each amazing so full of flavours the prices may be off putting but you get large portions that's why we could not manage a dessert if you want to try something different from the normal tiring carverys etc go here

Loved the food and the service. The atmosphere was calm. The staff didn't rushed our food and were very welcoming. Definitely come back here again.

Food is nice, portion is big , staff were friendly and good service plus bonus there is live Belly dancer she was pretty and nice.We enjoyed dining in this place

Service a bit slow had the grill for 2 came with garlic sauce... i asked for some chilli n more garlic was charged £1 each for a pot of sauce...food was good just need to scratch up on customer service...cocktails was delicious �

Starters were served within 10 mins however after we had finished them we waited over an hour for our mains. We asked a few times how much longer they would be to be told. "Sorry we are really busy." Not really what we wanted to hear. When the food did finally arrive it was lovely.

We were given a complimentary shot for the delay.

Two starters, two late mains and a bottle of wine cost £60 I would of been happier if the bill had been reduced for the poor service.

Nice restaurant interior,friendly staff & a belly dancer randomly makes an appearance.

Unfortunately the food is tasteless the prawn & Lamb tagine’s had no flavour at all ? A real shame as was really expecting more.

Have eaten here a number of times and enjoyed great food and service. The mezze was lovely, as it usually is, but the service rather less so, despite the place not being terribly busy Attention seemed to be diverted to friends and we were virtually ignored. A shame, given how good the food is

So after going to the place for food after previously been there once and enjoyed it I went this afternoon. I ordered plain chicken wings basically with no sauce on them. So everything was fine I sat down had my chips while I waited. I noticed when the wings were cooked that he was putting sauce on them after I had told him I wanted them plain. So he brought them out with garlic sauce on top of them. I don't know how else do I explain what plain means. So then the guy continued to give me dirty looks as he said he would make new ones. Then he laughed at me with other customer and some guy that walked in they spoke in a different language about me and laughed in my face. Disgusting customer service and your staff should be ashamed of themselves. I would highly recommend everyone to avoid this place after the visit I've had. No doubt I will get a horrible reply just like there staffs attitude.. avoid avoid avoid
