Congratulations to Rochdale Social Service heroine Sara Rowbotham on her NHS hero award. However, the real entertainment came in trying to count how many times my receptionist Julia and her pal Emma managed to make it on to TV. I lost count in the end. 😂😂😂😂

Took my 7 year old for her first eye test this week. They were brilliant with her and made her feel really at ease with all the eye tests. Great selection of children's glasses and really reasonably priced. Great location as well as it saved us a trip in to bury so it was convenient to do the test after school. Would definitely recommend!

Took my 5 year old boy in today for his first pair of glasses and I can not recommend them enough. They have a brilliant choice of frames for little ones and they where brilliant with him. Lovely people 🖒

Relaxing atmosphere, excellent service and expertise.

Recently bought 3 pairs of glasses here. Great choice, great service and great prices.

Thorough examination, no pressure sales and left to try on as many frames as you want.

Only went to check it out...wonderful warm and friendly service from the lovely Julia and had my eye test. Martyn was very helpful and I will certainly be going in the future. New specs on the way!! Result. Martyn is a Radcliffe lad, so support our local businesses and go have a look!

Managed to get a last minute appointment today for the MECS service for my son. Cannot fault anything and received wonderful service.....would recommend to anyone xx

I am typing this wearing my new reading glasses and I don't know why I have waited so long to get an eye test! The team at Martin Allen's are very professional but also friendly and helpful. I loved the honest advice I got when trying on different frames (quite happy to tell me what didn't suit my face and what did). Also very happy to explain in a bit more depth about eyesight and glasses for anyone who likes to know what's going on with their health! Thank you.

Friendly service and made my 5 year old daughter feel at ease when trying on and ordering her first pair of glasses . Lots of different frames to choose too ! Would definitely recommend
