Our Christmas Opening Hours

Visited the cafe yesterday for breakfast and it was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and polite. I will definitely be returning there soon.

Very nice place, we go for breakfast most Saturdays. Luvly staff and food always great. Definitely recommend for food. Also a good choice of plants etc and a luvly shopping area which sells all sorts of interesting products 😄

My wife and i Visited Tansley garden centre yesterday, to look at the christmas Display, Which was excellent, and whilst there we had Lunch at the cafe, as we quite often do as the food there is also Excellent and the Prices are very competative, the home made cakes and Pastries are as good as you will find any where, served by the most helpfull and polite staff, the only downside is the portions may a little bit to big.

My daughter Roxanne and I went yesterday and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious the service was friendly and excellent, the pet department was well cared for and the choice of plants was brilliant.

Lovely place, full of fantastic plants, and a lot of range of other items!! Will be coming back again soon!!

Lovely garden centre and friendly helpful staff always on hand if needed. We recently brought an hanging basket with a £10 off voucher making it a bargin at £4.99 I wasn't expecting much for the price but it's bloomed lovely and filled out to give a lovely colour and feature to my garden.

We all like it there.. Our grandson love the Animal side. I brought lots of plants over the years and will return when all the lovely Christmas things are up.. As i been there on Monday and saw bits..

The only down fall was the toilets there very tired looking plus freezing cold the door was wide open propped open & no heating on, which so we had to leave early because we needed to go again but the idea of going to us them was a no no. Such a shame!

However this is the fourth time I've visited in the past six months and I can tell you that the supposedly 'decaffeinated' coffee is NOT decaffeinated - as my being wide awake til 2.30am this morning will testify ! It might sound trivial but to some people it matters. Please change your coffee supplier!

Visited garden centre today to be told that due to a lot of complaints dogs are no longer welcome. Such a shame as we've been coming for a long time, but our dog is more important to us than you are. Hopefully you will rethink your policy, but by quoting Health and Safety concerns ,I doubt it. I look forward to reading your reply.

Very disappointed today to be told we could no longer visit the garden centre with our well behaved chihuahua. We have visited this store for quite some time now and even had coffee and each time our chihuahua was with us. We purchased her dog food from the pet store inside garden centre but it seems I will take my business elsewhere, sorry but if I can't bring my beloved companion with me then I don't go. Why have a pet store if pets not allowed anyway! Thank you to all the dog haters who complained of which I had the unfortunate displeasure of coming across recently anyway, it's about time businesses realise our dogs are family! There are plenty of other garden centres I can make my regular where myself and my chihuahua are welcome. In fact Mapperley garden centre have a dog friendly seating area in the restaurant indoors so it might be a good idea to review your decision!

The garden centre itself was fine....but the restaurant was awful. Food wasn't being served so the counter assistant offered sausage rolls...just ordinary sausage rolls £3.25 PER SAUSAGE ROLL!! That would of been £6.50 FOR 2 SAUSAGE ROLLS!!! APPALLING!! After discussion with friends and family they also agreed that the price is extortionate and that it's shameful to be charging this for a small pastry item. The coffee was awful as well. Left and will not be returning...nether will friends and family.

Not disabled friendly cafe or toilet facilities- inflexibility regards food - wanted to charge full price for a lone sausage roll WITHOUT salad (dietary issues) - won't go to the cafe again

We visited the coffee shop for lunch today and the service was awful. Not only was our tea practically thrown at us we had to then fetch it from half way along the counter and then my food was forgotten about (they were warming up a savoury pastry). As you charge a premium price for food I would expect a premium service and it was far from that today.

Our previous experiences haven't been as bad as this but it seems to have been slipping.

Quality of the food is reasonable and the rest of the garden centre is usually good but I'm certainly put off from visiting again.
