Mayfair will be closed for the Christmas holidays from Sun 24th-Wed 27th December 2017, and will re-open on Thursday 28th, Friday 29th & Saturday 30th.
... Mayfair will then be closed for New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, and we will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.

Used to work for the restaurant. Very good bosses and the food is always very tasty. Not only the ones served to the customers but also the ones specifically for staffs 🤤

Spent our 30th Wedding there last week just as good as when we first went the year we got married worth travelling 60 miles and a hotel stay, the food is always top notch (no Chinese takeaway stuff here) and I've always loved the take your own drink policy. May it continue another 30 years till our Diamond wedding!

Quality place, great food, Michael is a top man and all round nice bloke who goes out his way to make it a great night out!!

No bar, no bells and whistles, cash only, but by far the best Chinese in the Midlands. Outstanding food!

I came here with a group of friends on Saturday evening for my birthday and had a wonderful meal. The food was amazing and there was so much of it we couldn't eat it all and it was great value for money. Excellent service as always from Michael and the team definitely well recommended �

Hard to find a better Chinese in Nottingham staff great food as good as it gets shame they don't take cards but cashpoint few doors up the road bring your own alcohol with off licence few doors away

Great food with a very friendly price. The service is wonderful as well. However, bear it in mind that it can be very busy over the weekend.

First place I remember eating when I got to Nottingham 20 years ago and last place I ate before I left last year. Mike has seen me pretty much a kid myself fresh out of uni, then my first job....my kids....and watched them grow up...and still every bite at this place is great. Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful food. The best ribs anywhere. Great atmosphere. Relaxed. Sometimes a bit slow but that's because it's so popular but you are rewarded with superb food in the end so it's worth it. Tell Michael if you are in a hurry as most people are here to socialize over good food and your own plonk. I have been coming for 47 years since a local kid and have been fortunate to have eaten all over the world but Mayfair still takes some beating. Love it. x

Mayfair restaurant is such good value for money. Such a lot of good food. Pancake rolls are yum, as most of the food is. Limited English meals on the menu. You have to take your own drink with you but this keeps the price down. Upstairs chairs can be a bit lopsided, so swap around with other chairs otherwise you will get backache. The toilets are upstairs, the stairs are very steep so if you've got any issues climbing, I wouldn't go. Mike, (the owner?) will take good care of you.

Lovely cooked food generous portions will def be back we were a party of 7 and it was great
