A few days ago a 5 year old girl called Mylee refused to walk past Meet & Deep Newsagents without coming in. Her mum told her that she was in a rush and didn't have time to come into our shop, but still Mylee refused to walk past, shouting "I need to give this flower to Dee's mum".....she ran into our shop, straight behind the counter, and gave me the flower. I proudly put it in my hair and wore it all day. Mylee made my day, especially as her mum told me she's not the type of girl to just give things away to anyone....there is nothing like the love of a beautiful child, Thank you Mylee, God bless you xx ❤❤

What would you do if you had one wish? 10 year old Robyn and her two friends were discussing just that. The first boy said "I'd wish for a Ferrari"... the second boy said "I'd wish for a massive house"... then it was Robyn's turn... she paused to think a moment then said "I'd wish for happiness"...

Today is the H.A.N.D (Help A Neighbour in Distress) Village fair on Twickenham green... 50 charity stalls selling all sorts! Pop down and show your support! Fingers crossed for sunshine! ☉

One of our favourite days in Twickenham is Waldegrave School for Girls final day of lessons... Hampton road gets filled with the strangest sights! 🦖

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY STORY: our Paperboy, Richard came in one morning looking really upset. The bike he had got for his birthday had been stolen! The lovely couple that run Prince Albert Twickenham heard and decided to have a whip round - thanks to them, a generous regular and Cycle Republic, they surprised Richard with a new bike (and a very strong lock!). Richard was speechless... which doesn't happen often! Life is about looking out for the people around you - Thankyou Ken, Sarah and the generous regular! 💜💛💚💙❤

When our son told us he was going to be on TV in #TheCrystalMaze, Mrs P told him: 1) Don't get locked in and 2) Don't do a game with water... he did both!! 🙈 Find out what happened tonight at 8pm on #channel4 #crystalmaze💎

Its all about the now...

Happy Birthday to the heart of #MeetAndDeepNews... the kindest person you will ever meet. Recently an elderly neighbour passed away and her only son lived in Scotland. He was also elderly and found it difficult to come to London. Dee cleared the flat himself so the son could rent it out. Dee boxed everything up, arranged for charities to come and collect, put items on freecycle and even met with people coming to collect... all without expecting anything in return - If there were more people like him, the world would be an amazing place to live 💜💛💚💙❤ (However Dee still won't tidy his own room!!!)

The Easter Bunny was up early today... Happy Easter everyone! 🐰

It's Easter weekend... totally acceptable to have chocolate for breakfast 😉
