Congratulations to these 7 ladies for completing their Squash 101 course this week.
Led by our 101 Leaders Amy and Sally, a great time was had by all (especially at the post-course Prosecco and snacks do in the bar) !
All are now keen to be members and take advantage of our ladies only session 'Squash Girls Can!' on alternate Monday evenings.
... If this sounds like fun, Amy and Sally are running another six-week course, starting Wednesday 26th Feb at 6.40 and there are two spaces left.
If you are interested or would like any more info, please contact Garrie on 07963 500241.

MEG C V lindum B After a change around in seed orders, I was wondering how this match would turn out? 1st up was seed 5 drew, I actually feel sorry for the guy on this one as lindum pinched a div 3 player in FRAN Wallis, 1st game, as we watched fran return all of drews shots with ease whilst showing how good she can be fran took the 1st, after the break drew stepped it up and won the next game, game 3 was a routine game for fran whith drew struggling with frans shots and his ...own fitness after the winter break, 4th game was drew able to claw it back? well was quite the opposite really with fran going all out to get the game done she steamed into the lead and took the match 3-1. Next up was seed 3 Dan stamford, would he get tested now after moving up from seed 7 and it appears not with another 3-0 win well done Dan. Next was Phil bowler also moving up from seed 5 to seed 2 this was a very good game to watch apparently, with long rallys and his young opponent really pushing Phil to limits he never knew he had, and the never say die attitude won him the game 3-1 with both players receiving the man of the match award for there efforts Next was Jason Rance from what I here was another routine win and another 3-0 for Meg c, Next up was belly with the match already won he could play with no pressure, but after pulling up with a hamstring injury in the 1st game he decided to give up in the 2nd, let's hope for a quick recovery as things start to hot up in div 2, with only a few points between 3rd and 6th and a game in hand over 2nd place, next up for Meg c is deans who sit in 2nd place
