This year’s Extravaganza on Saturday 15th December is hosted by the Menagerie Fleet. The theme chosen is a Black & White formal evening. Plans have started to be made but there is always more that can be done. This is where we need your help and ideas. It is always great fun bringing these events together and seeing everyone enjoying themselves. If you would like to get involved then please let Ian Burns know (ianburns@uwclub.net, text or call 07720120233, or at the club most... Sundays).
If you are a social member we would welcome your involvement or help; if you are a new member and looking to get better involved with the club then this event is the ideal way. Just let me know. Best regards, Ian Solo Fleet
NB Unsure whether you are in the Menagerie Fleet? If you don’t sail a Flying15 or Asymmetric boat, then you are!
If you would like to come to the Extravaganza, please sign in on the list in the clubhouse or inform Marion. Thanks!

Classic beats Gold at the Flying Fifteen Open Meeting at MNSC: day two brought just about enough wind to complete the final two races, with a very close overall result - Mark Greer/Jim Reid in their Classic 2433 made sure that the trophies stayed at home thanks to their one point lead over Chris and Marion Bowen from Northampton SC in their Gold 4013. Many thanks to all visiting and home crews for taking part, as well as to Race Officer Andrew Connellan and his crew and the catering team led by Marion Vessey. The next Flying Fifteen Open at Middle Nene SC is scheduled for early October 2019 - details will be published in good time.
