What an awesome venue. The food was great and the family had a great time. I hadn't scated for years but after initially feeling nervous I soon got going.The staff were so helpful with the equipment and offered various sizes of scates and appropriate protection. Overall could not fault anything . To anybody out there you must try it. Had a great laugh and as it was my Birthday the food was really good. FANTASTIC PLACE.

What an amazing experience. Took my 2 kids, neither had skated before but they loved it. Skates where great quality and the arena was smooth. I hadn't skated for years, however, it all came back to me and at 50 years old it brought back some great memories. So wish it was on my doorstep and not 45 mins away. Thank you.

Well worth a look long drive but good fun, good atmosphere, good food and all in all well priced afternoon out for the whole family.

We turned up as a family of 12 of all ages. The staff straight away put us at ease, as most of us were newbies. The encouraged us and gave us helpful tips.

The venue is cosy and can i say that all the other skaters all helpful and approachable. I even got some tips from a stranger (mother with her children). From scratch it took us not long to at least feel comfortable to skate by ourselves.



You have a choice of old style skates or inline skates, they all provide protection, wrists, elbows and knees...all this for so little price £6; what a bargain. The little cafe was cosy and nice to chill out...the overall look is similiar to a Canadian wood lodge and very welcoming.



Can't wait to come down again very soon and we come from birmingham. The trip was worth it.

I turned up this evening with 13 kids for my daughters birthday, I hadn't pre booked but the staff were amazing and held a birthday party for us! The kids had an amazing time and it was fantastic value for money - 13 kids skating and hot party food for £104 and then I was also given free skating passes for the future!!! I would definitely recommend anyone to have a party here.

To all the staff I can't thank you enough you are fantastic especially the lady on the desk xx

Went here for our playoff finals, lovely place, well decorated and huge!! Rink was lovely, only same was they didn't open the cafe on a really hot day, when hundreds of people would've been willing to pay for food and drink, cause we was all there the majority of the day, and there's nothing close by!

I've been coming here all summer with my children and we have really enjoyed it. I paid for the Tuesday family skating package and was told there would be extra staff to help the children to improve their skating skills and to play games but the staff, who are very young, have not wanted to do any of this. When we arrived yesterday, they outright told my son no games would be played as there weren't enough people there. There were twice as many as last week and the girls (staff) were more interested in pirouetting with their friends in the middle of the rink and we felt like we were in the way. We actually left early because of this. I love the public skating but my daughter prefers coming on a tuesday because it is quieter as she is still not confident on skates. My son is 8 and would much rather play games, I also bring my niece and my three nephews every week and they also would like to play games. I will continue coming as I love the place and it's great value for money, but if the staff don't want to play with the children, it perhaps shouldn't be advertised. I have asked my son not to ask anymore because he spends the first 10 minutes upset and asking why they won't play. I think the older staff are very welcoming and I love frankie being there. My niece has now booked her birthday party there and we are all looking forward to it.

No adults on the poor quality rink to supervise. Reception area i was in the company of dogs ( who left the carpet very hairy and smelly) whilst in the cafe they were left to lay in the doorway to the cafe which to me is unacceptable. My 14 year old whose a keen skater hated it and stopped skating after half hour of being there. Waste of money and we wont be going back

A great family day out. I hadnt skated in over 20 years and ended up going two weeks on the trot. The kids loved it. Staff are really friendly and helpfull. We will be back next week.

Went here for our playoff finals, lovely place, well decorated and huge!! Rink was lovely, only same was they didn't open the cafe on a really hot day, when hundreds of people would've been willing to pay for food and drink, cause we was all there the majority of the day, and there's nothing close by!

I've been coming here all summer with my children and we have really enjoyed it. I paid for the Tuesday family skating package and was told there would be extra staff to help the children to improve their skating skills and to play games but the staff, who are very young, have not wanted to do any of this. When we arrived yesterday, they outright told my son no games would be played as there weren't enough people there. There were twice as many as last week and the girls (staff) were more interested in pirouetting with their friends in the middle of the rink and we felt like we were in the way. We actually left early because of this. I love the public skating but my daughter prefers coming on a tuesday because it is quieter as she is still not confident on skates. My son is 8 and would much rather play games, I also bring my niece and my three nephews every week and they also would like to play games. I will continue coming as I love the place and it's great value for money, but if the staff don't want to play with the children, it perhaps shouldn't be advertised. I have asked my son not to ask anymore because he spends the first 10 minutes upset and asking why they won't play. I think the older staff are very welcoming and I love frankie being there. My niece has now booked her birthday party there and we are all looking forward to it.

No adults on the poor quality rink to supervise. Reception area i was in the company of dogs ( who left the carpet very hairy and smelly) whilst in the cafe they were left to lay in the doorway to the cafe which to me is unacceptable. My 14 year old whose a keen skater hated it and stopped skating after half hour of being there. Waste of money and we wont be going back
