We went to M&C Hinckley, last night and I have to say we loved it. The food was fantastic, couldn’t fault it at all. The service was fab (just could have offered a few more drinks) checking food was ok and taking food order was perfect.

We tried the Sunday set menu and the choice was really good, price was great, we would highly recommend.

We will definitely be going back again ÔøΩ

This was our first visit to a Miller & Carter we went for Dinner on the 6th of July, The food & service was excellent atomphere was lovely, we also had a lovely table me & my husband we will be going back there we are not from the area we live in Bedfordshire, we are up for the weekend visiting family xx ÔøΩÔøΩ

Staff brilliant,my bbq ribs were great but partners ribeye steak was terrible all gristle and fat, the manageress was fantastic and agreed with us and didnt charge us for it...will give it another try hopefully it was just a one off

OMG this was again a fantastic meal . Having been here many times now i have yet to have a bad meal . I ordered the fillet steak and it was amazing cooked to perfection . The starters were very tasty as we had mushrooms . A lovely bottle of champagne for me and the missus but couldnt fit a pudding in . Having been to M&C around 10 times its still great value for money for a very top meal . Keep up the good work guys

My partner took me last night for my birthday once staff found out it was my birthday I was surprised with a glass of bubbly and a happy birthday slate, Charlie our waitress was lovely Steaks were cooked spot on,cocktail was lovely we will be making another visit for another lovely meal a lovely end to my birthday x

Just been for our wedding anniversary meal. Arrived to complimentary glasses of Prosecco & a decorated slate saying Happy Anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The food was faultless, the steaks were delicious. Our waitress Shannon, was a lovely polite young lady. A very enjoyable evening. We will be back.

Had a really nice meal last night, the service was great and the steaks were delicious. Great set menu on a Thursday night for 3 courses for £25. We had a bit of a wait for starters but before we had even had to say anything the staff had picked this up and the starters were soon out as were some complimentary drinks. The staff were brilliant, regularly checking if we needed anything. Look forward to returning again.

Had a fantastic meal. Steak was cooked perfectly just as we had asked. The staff were lovely. I’ve been to a few other Miller and Carter’s such as Coventry and Shirley. But have to say Hinckley is now my favourite even tho I live in Coventry. Well worth the drive. Only downside was too many people not abiding to the dress code.

Everything was brilliant from start to finish, staff were welcoming and helpful. From when we sat down I didn’t know what to have as it all looked good, I ended up with the boneless ribs with mash and buttered vegetables, and my partner had the 8oz sirloin with fries. From when it turned up to the table it looked small but be reassured it was very filling.



The desserts were also incredible, my partner and I had sticky toffee pudding and the warm brownie both of which were served with ice cream, the sticky toffee pudding with a vanilla ice cream and the brownie with a hazelnut infused ice cream. The whole meal and experience there was very good and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Only downfall was that it was very warm inside but it was 30 degrees outside so I’m splitting hairs really, but air conditioning (if it wasn’t in there already) would have been nice but I have to find something to say that wasn’t great as everything else was perfect.

Absolutely fabulous! Visited for the first time on 16th April. The restaurant looks incredible and I can fully understand why they would want to enforce a dress code, although I noted that some people were quite casually dressed. It was Date Night and a special menu, though the main menu was also available. We had perfectly cooked scallops, a faultless antipasti plate with delicious garlic bread, followed by steaks (cooked exactly right), sea bass and salmon. As it was Thursday night, we also had a bottle of Prosecco for £15. The desserts too were excellent, though the creme brulee was a too large for me (my partner finished it off with his chocolate brownie!). To add to all this, our waitress Claire was an absolute delight. I am only sorry that we don't live locally - we are in a black hole as far as this group is concerned. We will not hesitate to go back on our next trip to Hinckley. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A big thank you to the Miller and Carter lady and gent who came out to bring me a bottle of water tonight when I stopped my car by the carpark feeling unwell. If you are as nice to your customers as you are to sick passersby, we will definitely be back to eat once I’m feeling better! Thank you both again �

Very nice food, quality cut steak and great service..Probably the best peppercorn sauce iv tasted!..the only let down was that there was a good few things missing from the menu so had to go alternative choice but there was enough to choose from.

This is the 2 nd time my partner and I have been, and both times food has been excellent,although a bit pricey it's nice to come as a treat! It would be nice to have a larger salad,instead of fries,it's usually a few limp leaves with a little tomato and cucumber,but overall food was lovley

Great food. .. lovely staff. .. just a little slow on delivery of the drinks each time we ordered .. but would definitely recommend. .. ÔøΩÔøΩ celebration cake was fab .. ÔøΩ

We went a couple of days ago and was in 3 hours, service was very slow! sticker in my friends sauce manager apologised and drinks very slow to come to the table. Also, toilets weren't cleaned and the cubicles were to small to get in some of them. Bonus points, free wine and time for a good chat with my friends ÔøΩ

Our waiter Leon was fab. He was friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. Unfortunately he left before we had our desert. After Leon had said a hearty farewell the service went straight down the pan and we felt as though we were an inconvenience. Our starters and main courses were very nice although I probably wouldn’t bother with a desert again as these were disappointing. Drinks were very expensive. Nice surroundings and a perfectly adequate meal.

Where do I start! Absolute nightmare of an experience. Tabled booked, got the table late. When it came to order the food what we wanted was 'out of stock' and was told we should've pre ordered. Nothing saying this anywhere. Having worked in the industry, common practice is to say what is out of stock as customers sit down, but no nothing.

Then we had the Spanish Inquisition about who we were and they wanted our names etc, just because we wanted the most expensive steak on the menu. When the food finally arrived, the steaks were cooked badly. For the cost of the steaks, they were disgusting. Ordered medium on the advice of the waiter but it came blue! There was still a pulse I'm pretty sure! The chicken was nice but was expecting half a chicken, as per the menu, but got a butterflied breast instead. Gravy was very salty and inedible. Adding onto the fact the one waiter/manager had extremely poor body odour. Working in the industry you need to maintain good personal hygiene at all times. So in hot conditions you need to bring a couple of shirts for a long day and top up deodorant regularly. No excuses for that at all - it was vile! We ended up sending the blue steak back. Yes we were offered a free drink and the cost of the poorly cooked steak off the bill however, it really ruined our night. We certainly won't be going back there nor will we recommend. It seems they don't like you wearing shorts and t-shirt either, you've got to wear your Sunday best clothing! Totally discriminatory. Our money is as good as anyone's. Miller and Carter, sorry but you're not for us.

We went out for a treat lunch and to try Hinckley Miller and Carter. The meal was very uninspiring and not up to the usual standard you’d expect from Miller and Carter. After not eating my main £3 was knocked off my bill very generous � we certainly won’t be back.

Unfortunately I have to give this restaurant a bad review not because of the food as I have eaten in other two of there branches but for the fact that after visiting there store and speaking the the general manager Richard I have tried to book a table for my mother in law special 70th birthday and they will not cater for 17 people??? After talking with Richard and trying to understand why this is not possible as a business this size the outcome is that they do not feel comfortable that the staff would not be able to cope with this amount of People?? And this is head office procedures.. I fail to believe that a business of this size would have this in place do they not want the custom? I am now feeling very let down by Millar and Carter not sure me or any of the 17 people would return.
