Me and my partner find it hard to get some "us" time due to having 4 young children. Was easily booked and as it was a little surprise for my partner bday next week they did a little cake unbeknowon to me and my other half which was a lovely suprise. Survice was fantastic to say how busy they were food was just amazing! We will definitely be coming again and would highly recommend 5☆ from us for sure.

I went with my parents to Miller and Carter to celebrate a birthday, but before arriving, I was advised that booking the meal online was an easy process. We arrived, were seen very quickly by attentive staff at the front door, made to feel welcome and shown to our table where we sat down. The service throughout was first rate, and as for the food itself - well, it was brilliant. Beautiful starters, even better Steaks and delightful desserts made for three very happy (and full) campers! Thank you Miller and Carter Wollaton! �

I booked a table got sat down straight away, food was ready almost instantly. This place put my home made steaks to shame. Our waiter was lovely and served us with a smile :) will be coming back again!!!

Hubby and my date night last night and we loved it, Sophie our waitress was excellent and made the evening more enjoyable. The food was excellent, Angus Sirloin was the best I've ever tasted - not a cheap night but very well worth it xXx

Had our first meal yesterday, early evening as we were off to a concert afterwards. Evening time was booked solid so my husband enquired what the latest lunch booking we could have and it was at 16:45, which turned out to be perfect timing if you are off to other entertainment after. We had Alex attend to us from the minute we walked in and he was an absolute joy. Told us the daily recommendations, was very polite when I asked what the ‘wedge’ was and overall a very good waiter! He was patient whilst we took our time deciding on the wine and again over the menu. The food was superb, not over heavy on the portion size so managed to do the full 3 courses and cleaned the plates! Will definitely be back and will bring friends as they too will love it!

Excellent meal the food was incredible. Our waiter Alex was one of the best servers we have ever had, he recommended dishes on the menu and advised us if it would be to much food or not enough between two people etc will definitely be returning xx

Came here last night for my boyfriends birthday, and we were not dissapointed! Our waiter was very helpful happy and polite, all 3 courses came in good time, and the quality of food was spot on! Came here for a date night last night steak was cooked to perfection cannot fault the food was the nicest steak I've ever tasted .. and the waitress who looked after us was very good and very friendly.. had a great time will certainly return! �

Went yesterday for Father’s Day so paid a ten pound deposit each

Ordered dinner

Starters came husbands salad with bbq bites was dry so he could not eat it looked like it had been there ages

Myself and my son both had scallops on par entire potatoes etc

The potatoes were cold and scallops all three of them wow were not caramelised

Told the waiter when he came to take the plates away and I was not charged for mine

But paid for the other two .

My husband had sirloin steak which he enjoyed and myself and son had the slow cooked beef which was lovely

MY son also had the half lobster which he enjoyed

This is not a cheap restaurant wit one glass of wine three beers and a coke

It came to 107.70

Food was good but won’t be rushing back anytime soon

If this place was judged by the quality of staff it would be a very strong 5 stars! The food was nice. Quite expensive for what it is and it came luke warm but I’m sure they would have been great if freshly brought out. The steaks were cooked as asked and nice. The bill was quite expensive and for me, didn’t reflect the food that was served. The lovely Spanish waiter was absolutely lovely though. He was so good that he made the occasion for us. He blurred the fact it was just an ok lunch. Great recruiting. ❤️

I booked Miller and Carter Steakhouse for my son's 18th Birthday we were a party of 17 split over 2 tables (next to each other) this was fine as once we"d eaten we just rotated to chat.

Cons:

I ordered the Birthday cake on Line (so did not take one with me) on the site. A large chocolate ganache, Only to be told when I arrived they don't do birthday cakes!

Not Happy! Take it off your website if you don't have the service. My son ended up with a slice of brownie for his 18th Birthday cake!

The food service was a little inconsistent my 8 year old niece was in tears as her food took so long to arrive.

Our bill came in £10.70 over due to charging more than stated on the menu...ie the kids meals were 9.95 for 2 courses yet they added 4.75 for ice cream we'd already paid for?. This was confusing?

Our waitress seemed a little harrassed

Food was really lovely and our waitress Danielle was so attentive, personable and really friendly - I'd give her 5 stars. She's an asset to the place and I hope she's well valued.

Unfortunately we were seated at a table right next to the front doors. Every time anyone came in or out (which was constantly as it was rammed) not only did I feel like I was being stared at like an animal in the zoo but I was also treated to a blast of freezing cold air. Danielle did her best to re-seat us but it was very busy so not possible. The location of our table was barely suitable for drinks let alone a meal. I think it's pretty rubbish that the management or whoever is responsible for the restaurant layout thinks it's more important to ram people in to get in more cash than it is to provide a suitable and comfortable table location.

If I ever go here again and have the only option of this table then I'd rather leave. My suggestion would be to remove it as a dining table as it doesn't make for a pleasurable dining experience.

Cannot fault the food, that was fantastic as always. We went for my brothers birthday, upon arrival we wanted to pop some cakes 'round the back' to surprise him. We was told because we hadn't booked a table they would not take them. These were baked by my brothers step daughter, she's 7. Well the surprise was ruined thanks to your shitty, stuck up waitress! I'm also on crutches due to a broken leg... lots of tables free... still manage to seat us up the steps �� staff are like robots. Lack of empathy and attention! If you put as much attention into your staff as you do your food it would be 5*!

I’m disgusted... poor food and expensive prices. Advertised as steak on the menu, comes out a thin slice of beef, like you would put on a sandwich and brought out the adults puddings while my son was still eating his dinner... of meatballs and pasta... I had to ask the chef to cook him some meatballs as he had 4 of the smallest meatballs I’ve ever seen. I’m disgusted, rude staff. Won’t be returning

I have been trying to make a reservation for this place the whole week and no one has answered the phone. I have got through to the central reservation booking line but they are unable to book as I'm looking for a table for 12. I'm discusted in the lack of customer service. My son has his 16 birthday in 3 weeks and really wanted to go.. But looks like we will have to book elsewhere. I will not be trying to book again. So you have lost a customer. One who regularly enjoys going out for meals!

Crispy chill squid was soggy, waited ages too, plastic straws and stirrers too in every glass, red wine delivered with my starter, not too impressed, shame the Glasgow city centre one was far better

Came here for a special anniversary meal as it was recommended by family. I cannot fault the service from our waitress Sophie she was lovely and explained everything to us. My only criticism is the main meal was luke warm and my husbands steak was not really cooked how he asked for didn’t want to say anything on the night as didn’t want to upset Sophie as this clearly isn’t her fault it’s the fault of the kitchen. My husband did comment as he could see the kitchen from his seat that there was a lot of food under the hot lamps waiting to be taken out so this isn’t good as with anything and the money you are paying it should be straight to the table hot. My husband certainly will not be back. On a positive note it was very nice that Sophie got the the pudding we had written with happy anniversary so big thumbs up for Sophie !!!

Previous customers food left under the table, order came out wrong, family of 4 and 1 was left to eat alone. 3 members of staff stood at the end of the table to stare at the window laughing at a customer outside and another families children playing hide and seek around the restaurant and nothing was said. unprofessional and clearly clearing up from previous customers not a priority.
