We have now had no rain at all in over 6 weeks. We have very short memories though, the picture below was taken just 22 weeks ago, how we forget, lol. (a bit of rain would be nice though).

Lost property.
We have been clearing out the piles of lost property. If you see anything that looks familiar please call in. We will send everything that is unclaimed to the charity shop at the end of July.
Many thanks.

More new babies at the farm...
Please come and give a warm welcome to our latest gorgeous babies. We have 4 calves that could not be more perfect.
They are a bit slobbery though so don't get too close...

User

Football - love it or hate it, we have a plan.
As you probably know, the mighty England are taking on the Swedish minnows on Saturday at 3pm. Whilst we wont have a big screen to watch it, we will be turning in Radio 5 and playing it in the cafe area. The rest of the farm will be football free so something for everyone or as they say in Sweden 'något för alla'.

User

The heat is on (the coat is off).
The first of our alpaca's have been sheared, they look so skinny underneath all of that fluff. Bless them. Who is next?

User

We have no time to stop and stare...but you guys do.
Another thing you mentioned on your feedback forms was that it would be great to have some nice benches dotted about for a quick breather, especially in this sunny weather. So sit down, enjoy the view and relax (before your children drag off again),

User

Following up to your feedback...
As you know, we take your feedback very seriously as it will help us improve your farm. One thing that a few of you mentioned was that some children occasionally bumped their heads when getting into the Treetops play area. We have made some additions which will now stop that happening (and it makes it even more exciting too.....)

Went here today with my 6 year old and 3 year old and it was fantastic! The sandpit was the highlight of their trip! Such an amazing idea for little ones!

The animals were far more socialised than most farms we have visited, and the kids absolutely loved how friendly the animals were.. and how much even the cows didn't mind being stroked! The kids loved having their own colour coded feed bucket. Much more practical than the usual feed in paper bags!

The indoor play castle is incredible. Such a clever idea instead of the usual soft play. We will 100% be visiting lots throughout the summer! The cafe was lovely and reasonably priced! Lovely coffee and cakes! Not a negative word to say!

User

We visited mini meadows as part of a summer play-scheme we organise for young people with learning disabilities. It was an amazing day out. All of the staff were so helpful, even reserving some tables for us in the peak the summer holidays! Our children loved being so close to the animals and feeding them with their buckets of food! If anyone is thinking about visiting...go, it really is great day out.

User

We travelled just over an hour to get here last Saturday and it was definitely worth the trip!

Compared to our local farm there's such a good variety of animals and we were amazed how close they were.

All the animals were all very interactive and friendly, both myself and my 4 year old enjoyed feeding them.

The indoor play area is fab, as is the playground and sandpit.

We also enjoyed our lunch in the cafe, I was surprised how reasonable the prices were.

Have recommended to friends and family and we'd definitely return again 😊

User

We love mini meadows! It’s the perfect size for little legs, there’s heaps to do and there’s plenty of chance to interact with the animals too. It’s always a great day out and the friendly and patient staff are great.

User

We have been here in rain and glorious shine and each time we have loved it. Its never seemed overly busy even though there were lots of people there and the children (and adults) have really enjoyed each visit. Great areas for children, lovely selection of happy animals, good shop, nice cafe and its not overpriced. We will keep returning.

User

We had our son’s birthday party at the farm today and we all absolutely loved it. The party room is a great base, and even though the weather wasn’t that warm we had no problem occupying 16 children. All the staff were very kind and helpful, and I would recommend to anyone for a party.

User

Visited the farm on Tuesday - its really lovely well worth a visit! Staff are excellent - my child had a bump to the head whilst in the play area, she was very upset but a kind lady (sorry didn't get her name) sorted her with a cold compress, made her laugh & gave her some chocolate. 10 minutes later my child was back playing in the play area. Thankyou so so much ❤️

User

Travelled from Leicester so only 30 minutes away.. What a great place the Farm is. All the animal enclosures where lovely and clean, great variety of animals and loved the petting area. For £5 per adult it's a cheap day out. Definitely popping back again. The only negative would be .. it would be nice if there where parasoles at the outside table eating area and the food is quite expensive.. but overall we had a great 3 hour's. Thanks

User

Today was my first visit to Mini Meadows and I was blown away by it! What a little gem of a place. We came as a group of 3 generations from 2yrs old to 70, and we were all thoroughly entertained all day, ending with Granny and Grandson giving a lamb a bottle of milk - a first for both of us!! Thank you for a great day out and we will be back.

User

This place is a real gem for kids. Plenty to see & do, animals to feed, to stroke, to interact with. Indoor & outdoor play areas, all set in beautiful countryside. Didn’t eat here but looking at what’s served & prices charged it seems great value. Definitely worth a visit

User

My grandchildren are three and we’ve been visiting each year ....this was the best by far ....as they were that little bit to older ...they thoroughly enjoyed it feeding the many animals...their little faces filled with excitement ....truly lovely....the toilet facilities were fantastic ...proper little family rooms also the hand washing area was great...the only downside was that I couldn’t buy the yearly pass but that was only a tiny minor issue ....Slso had our llunch in the cafe food and service were brilliant....

Many Thanks To the Mini Meadows Team...xxxx💜

User

User

If I could give it 100 stars I would!! Absolutely amazing day!!! Even with it being the busiest day in 10 years we still managed to do everything we wanted to, the kids had amazing fun and us adults got a chance to relax and enjoy a hot drink and some cake! Can’t wait to go back! Thanks for the tow out of the field too, definite highlight to the day

I went last Friday with the grand kids aged 2 and 9 we all enjoyed it. We were prepared wearing our boots. I had bought an annual membership in February before the prices went up so now we can visit anytime without worrying about the cost. If you buy your membership early in the year its half the price. These prices are much cheaper than others I have seen. Drinks and food prices are good but they do get very busy. I bring my own which saves money and queuing. I will be going again soon. I would like to see more indoor climbing equipment for the toddlers but I know the owners have already achieved so much with the place.

User

Hello, we had a fab time tonight with our Guides from Grange Park. This farm is amazing and the girls loved feeding the animals and especially the mad funny goats. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Will come back for a full day in the holidays.

User

First trip to the farm today was a fab day! Weather was good, wish I’d worn my wellies (took the kids) as in places was stodgy but normally mummy checking the kids had everything lol. We brought food and drinks in the cafe I had two kids boxes and a jacket potatoe the food was amazing. Prices were reasonable to. Animals were lovely apart from one greedy alpaca/larma who stole food from my five year old. Thanks for a great day see you in the next school holiday x

User

First time visiting the farm today, really impressed!! Great facilities, very clean, animals all very happy and well looked after. Great set up with a good mixture of indoor, undercover and outside activities so a little drizzle didn’t hamper our visit. Indoor play was perfect for a 4.5 year old and an almost two year old. Prices were excellent for entry and at the cafe (cake and hot chocolate were delicious). We will be back again soon!! Thankyou for a wonderful afternoon

User

Fantastic farm and excellent value for money! The cleanest farm I’ve ever been to and staff were emptying the bins regularly so they weren’t overflowing. The toilets were nice and clean and not the usual ‘toilet’ smell. The new indoor play area is a fantastic addition the the farm . The food was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone

User

Excellent Farm park, good value for money and our grandson loved it. Great cafe with reasonable prices, plus plenty of picnic tables inside and out for those who like to take their own food.
