Miracle In Progress

Fab experience !!! Amazing midwives with the knowledge that helped me to keep my sanity !! Totally felt the one one they cared for... my husband was involved by children made to feel special... would go here time and time again. Thank you miracle in progress for being the midwife I wanted ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Visited twice now in the last few months. I initially booked an early reassurance scan as it was my first pregnancy and wanted to put my mind at rest. We booked on hearing good things from friends, and we were not disappointed! The Midwife who preformed the scan at 9 weeks, made the moment very special for me and my husband. She went into a lot of detail and was so friendly. On looking for the address for our first scan I came across a Groupon for a 4d gender scan from 17 weeks. I went ahead and booked. Our second experience was just as wonderful as the first. Our 12 week NHS scan had been rather disappointing so we were both so happy to be visiting miracle in progress again. Worth every penny and more, we will definitely be back, i can't recommend this place enough!

Myself, my partner and my 17 month old son visited here on the 3 March and came away quite upset. We had the 4d scan booked to see our little girl for the first time. The lady with dark/reddy hair was the one who scanned me and at the front desk was a lady with dark bobbed hair with a fringe. We went in to be scanned and my little girl was really visible on the screen so they asked me if I would do a live video as it was so good I said yes. Well this was one of their first live videos, the receptionist was being put under so much pressure by the midwife to get it on live that they decided they were going to to have a tiff with each other in the room we were in. They tried to do it at least three times and the midwife said 'just leave it, your useless' but the receptionist said 'it's on go!' So she we went through with it. Obviously knowing it was live I wanted to share with my friends and family my scan so I got in touch with my parents and asked them to go onto your site and when I went on to watch it wasn't there, wasn't even put on. So the humiliation I felt was awful and feeling as though it wasn't good enough. So so unprofessional, the midwife with the dark reddy bobbed hair is unbelievably rude to her staff. So what was meant to be amazing turned out to be rubbish, paid £45 for one photo and had about 6 taken and they were rubbish because when my little girl was playing ball you were too busy messing around with the stupid live link!

I was quite disappointed with my scan this time round I've been here quite a few times before and both sonographers I had were amazing ..this time I had a new lady id never seen before I was paying for a HD live scan with 2 extra colour pictures and a DVD, during the scan the lady had only took 4/5 pictures of my baby whereas in the past I had around 25+taken so there was more to choose from , She didn't have the most pleasant of manners and as for the DVD, Well we paid for that to get home to a blank DVD with nothing on it .. by this time my hormones were raging, not only had we spend £64 on a scan but we spend an extra £68 in the shop so it isn't as though we was just doing a basic package to get this treatment... when we drove another 45minutes back to the shop , My fiance went into to explain the situation and all they said was sorry we are having malfunctions with the DVD recorder we will find your DVD and send it off to you in the post , but the thing is there was no track record of my DVD as the woman didn't record anything whilst scanning me , also many people was walking out of the shop with DVDS in their hands AFTER the staff telling us that their DVD recorder was not working , in the end they just kept saying sorry .. but in my opinion apologising isn't going to cover an hour and half wasted journey for something they didn't even offer the money back for our "faulty" DVD until my fiance demanded the money back and that we would no longer be using their services , After all this we had to travel an extra 40 minutes to go to derby to get another scan for the DVD as this was for a present for somebody in the family .. rant over

Just got back from this cowboy outfit.
We had an appointment for 7.30pm. We arrived right on time, we walked into the tiny reception area to see the receptionist talking to another woman, we stood there for a few minutes completely ignored while these two talked away like we wasn't there. Eventually the receptionist turned to us and asked for our name, we gave it and was told, "down there on the left take a seat." Rather blunt. Immediately alarm bells are now ringing in my head ...

We turn into the "waiting room" which is pretty much around 8 hard uncomfortable chairs in a tiny room no bigger than an average box room. It's full, just two seats empty and our children have to stand.

After listening to staff to laugh and giggle for 20 minutes with nobody being seen for 20 minutes my partner asks reception how long is the wait going to be as she is sat there with a full bladder for the scan. She was told, " it won't be long." All this time no scans are taking place and it feels like we're all an inconvenience to the staff.

8.10pm we are finally called into the scan room. 40 minutes after our 7.30pm appointment, my partner the whole time struggling with a full bladder for the scan.
We are in and out inside 10 minutes and issued some low quality prints. £59 lighter we leave disappointed.

So what we have learned. This place is a business set up to get their hands on your hard earned money with the least amount of work possible.
You are not an individual. Your walking money to this firm.
Everything about this place screams back Street set up. And it is.

We will not use this place again. We will travel the extra miles to tummies to mummies in hinckley. This place is light years ahead of this set up.
Tummies to mummies waiting area is furnished with comfortable leather sofas, a big airy light atmosphere. The staff are incredibly professional and very friendly ! Scans are super clear with prints and a dvd ! All for £20 less than this back Street set up.

Amazing! First visit was for a 4D scan which was very professional and I loved the whole experience so when I fell pregnant again I went for a early reassurance scan, I unfortunately suffered a miscarriage and they gave me so much help and support even spoke to my GP! Highly recommended. X

Beautiful. The staff were fab the place was clean and welcoming. It was all round a lovely experience x thankyou ladies x
