The Pike Hunter Competition is back by popular demand. This is a one day competition where you can move around between 3 lakes and 1 river, in search of catching as many Pike as you can. Each anglers will have there weight combined and the winning weight takes the cash prize. Your can move around Bridges, Puma, Mallard and the river in search for these beasts, but so will every one else in the comp 😁. Ticket price is £32.00 ... Date 22nd Dec 7am arrival. Here's Richard with a few of his latest captures out of Snipe lake.
2 commons, one at 32lb and the other at 25lb. Also a cracking Mirror at 31lb.
Top dangling mate.

Here's a few carp caught out of Bridges on a quick overnighter.
We also have a NEWS FLASH. Just had reports from another angler that a 44lb 8oz Mirror has being caught out of Mallard lake. So we had to go view the photos. We can confirm that its not one of the usual suspects but is a known forty that doesn't come out often. The last time it actually came out in 2016. We are awaiting the photos of this fish to be sent to us and will post as soon as we have them.

The gates are now shut at 4.30pm people and open again at 7am.
Any members of Snipe and Garda can gain access after hours by appointment only. There will be a small charge of £5 for this, to cover the cost and the time of the bailiff to let you in after hours.
But I have further good news for our members. The day ticket price for Snipe and Garda has been reduced over the winter period to £25 per 24hours. ... This will take effect from Thursday the 1st November to the first of March.
Happy dangling.

Lets spice things up a bit. Snipe and Garda competition.
We have just put a £150 into a kitty to start things off. Each time a member books in for a session they have the choice to put £5 into the pot. ... If you choose to do this and during that session you catch either the Grey which is in Snipe or Patch that is in Garda. You take the pot of money. The longer these fish avoid capture the bigger the pot will grown. All we need is a photo of either fish which we will confirm, to take the winnings.
The choice is yours. Do you or Don't you😁

My favourite place ever to fish. The staff are always kind and helpful. I have never blanked. The food is always excellent, facilities always clean. The mix of species in the match lakes can't be beaten. I regularly catch 30 fish in a day, both off the surface and the bottom this time of year. Excellent value for money for everyone from their first ever fishing trip to seasoned anglers. I have not bothered going anywhere else for about 8 years.

User

I haven’t been carp fishing for about 10 years and visited puma this Saturday just gone. The lakes have really matured over the few last few years and despite the lake seemingly fishing quite hard I managed five carp out up to 14lb. Keep up the good work!

Great day, being able to park next to your swim is priceless

User

Lucky this isn't a 1 star rating, I asked the guys at the shop if my wife could drive her 92 mother up the steep slope to our pegs to be told no way and it's only another 150 yards. Fuming wasn't the word thanks for being so helpful doubt I'll be back shame used this place for a few years now.

User

Went there today, wasn't told a match was on until after I bought my ticket, was then refused a refund as I'd left the shop, despite the fact they didn't tell me til I'd left the shop and told I had to fish the crap lake, which I couldn't get to for half an hour because the match fishermen were setting up and blocking the only access to it. Again asked for refund again refused. Then was told that I couldn't fish as I didn't have an unhooking mat - neither did the match fisher and proceeded to try and sell me a mat for £35. Not bothered about the money its only a tenner, it's the principle and treatment. Rude con merchants!

User

Not run for match anglers, they hate any sort of criticism, they banned me for 7 months, probably for life after this, need to listen to advice from professional anglers, in the beginning they excepted help but now just take the wrong advice from old men who like things to go their way , and hate anyone winning more than once, simple things need to be done to improve it ,like place viable peg numbers on platform's, removal of all double figure fish increase net weights its ridiculous trying to get 7 nets in one peg.
