Calling all World cup widowers celebrate in style with £15 bottles of prosecco all day until the World Cup final. #worldcupwidowers #fifa2018

User

Was bought Prosecco afternoon tea as a birthday gift and it didn’t disappoint. The food and drinks were well presented and the cakes delicious, especially the lemon & lavender which tasted home made (so hopefully it was). There was too much to eat at the time so the lady kindly boxed the scones, jam, cream and butter in 2 separate boxes. A very lovely experience in a quaint building.

User

Visited yesterday for afternoon tea with my partner and we loved it! You get plenty of food as i had to take some home. The bread is fresh and the scones are nice. The slices of cake are amazing that i thought they were home made. The cherry bakewell one is to die for! Best afternoon tea i have had so far. Highly recommend. Also the staff are lovely and friendly and i love the querky venue.

User

There were 12 of us for a hen party on Saturday afternoon, and it was lovely. The staff were efficient and polite, the afternoon tea was filling (we hardly touched the cakes as we were so full) and tasty. The only downside was the heat! The room we were in was sooooo warm we stuck to the chairs! Definitely will be visiting again - maybe when this heatwave is over!

User

My friend booked us in for afternoon tea. One of us is veggie so there was a good range of veggie options in our afternoon tea and it was all delicious. All the staff were great, the decor is fantastic and the toilets are clean! Couldn’t ask for anything else really.

User

Had afternoon tea with Amie Warren and her bridesmaids to be during wedding dress shopping. What a great venue, will definitely return. Thanks for making a great day even better.

User

Brilliant eclectic place with the most fantastic cocktails ...try the fish tank one it's so totally different

User

Bought afternoon tea with cocktails for a birthday present and I can honestly say it was really nice! Everything was so fresh and presented lovely. They were very accommodating as I am pregnant and the staff were so lovely! I will be definitely be going again :) xx

User

Went for a birthday treat for my friend and had the afternoon tea with cocktails the food and drink was lovely well worth the money the service was bit slow saying ad it wasn't that busy but overall a lovely day and would go back again.

User

My second visit to the Manor & it was just as good as the first. Afternoon Tea on both occasions & the staff were happy to accommodate us in terms of food allergies etc. This time was as a 13th birthday treat for my daughter & when spotting the balloon we bought with us, staff added a candle and sang happy birthday at the table which was such a lovely touch.

We had the tipsy tea (one mocktail of course) which was fabulous & value for money. Coupled with the quirky decor it was an afternoon to remember.

User

Great food, great value for money and lots of selection. The chicken wings were amazing! The theming and atmosphere is out of this world. A great addition to the curious collection as we have visited browns in Mansfield a few times.

Only few pointers - music was way too loud for a Thursday early afternoon ( we could barely talk and hear each other)

The barman (possibly manager or owner) was very rude to my husband at the bar and had 0 people skills. Luckily we only ordered drinks and food with him, the girls serving were great.

Due to lots of people coming upstairs it would have been handy to have someone greeting on the bottom floor rather than people making own way up to the 1st floor and wandering near the bar looking lost until one of the servers were available to seat them.

Amazing experience we will be back for afternoon tea! Smile barman

User

Gorgeous cocktails excellent service afternoon tea really big though we ended up bringing the cakes home as we couldn’t eat it all will be a regular treat from now on!

User

Good : service friendly and professional, food good and value for money. Restaurant area clean and presentable

Bad : there was a strong pong of sewers when entering the premises!? Menu (food and drinks) choice a little restrictive.

User

Food was amazing & the staff were very friendly.

Im going to sound old but the only thing for me was the music. It was quite loud to the point i could not hear my fiancee & we struggled to have a conversation.

I would definitely go again though.

User

We enjoyed the food and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. We struggled with the level of noise though it was almost like trying to eat a meal in a nightclub, we struggled to hear each other and therefore declined a dessert or 2nd drink. I understand it was Saturday evening however it was only 5:30pm so wouldn’t expect that kind of atmosphere? Maybe you could have a drinking area and a eating area that is a bit quieter?

User

This place is beautiful and quirky and we have visited on many occasions. However we were a little disappointed yesterday when we called in for brunch. The food was overcooked and the place looked like it needed a good clean. The windows were dirty and so we our seats! We will visit again but if the cleaning standards remain the same I'm afraid we won't be back. You have a little gold mine here but it felt neglected!

User

Setting is magnificent, service once seated was pretty good, the service at the bar left a lot to be desired, no acknowledgement or eye contact and took a good while to get served, even though we were the only ones at the bar. It's a shame as it's a lovely place. The afternoon tea was nice, not enough savoury for my liking, one little tier of tiny sandwiches and two of scones and cakes. Cocktails were lovely. If staff were a little more welcoming and engaging I would have given 5 stars, customer service is key, to me!

User

We were booked in for a hen party at 4pm.we didn't get seated until 4.50pm. The table we were sat at was sticky and three out of the six cups were dirty or had lipstick on them. One of our party asked for the Manager, who upon didn't even apologize and quite frankly got defensive about the sticky table! All she had to say was sorry ladies. I will sort this, but she didn't, she simply waltzed off to get cups and it appeared due to our table position that she was talking about us to the staff as they all turned around and looked as us all!! Would you drink out of dirty cups?! The place itself is lovely, but would benefit from management training and attention to detail before paying guests are bought to a table. All this said that last member of staff to serve us, albeit for payment was very apologetic and appeared shocked by what we had said, perhaps she's management material right there thumbs up to you lovely

User

I went tonight with a few friends.the food took about an hour to come. My friend asked for water which when it came it was in an old wine bottle that tasted as tho it hadn't been washed out properly. Decor was fantastic and the starter was lovely but other than that was really disappointed. We won't be coming back

User

We had 2tables and spending a lot of money when we eventually got sevice ,then guess what ? Told to go as they needed our tables,I guess they don't need £80 rounds, must be the top place to go,leave it up to you,go and see and wait for views on the service?
