This is an amazing place for something a little bit different, not all curries have to be hot, we loved the beetroot curry, and cashew nut,garlic and pea, I wish I did not have to travel all the way from Dorset to get such great tasting food. buzzing atmosphere, great vibe and wonderful fusion of tastes , wonderful starter the Mango Salad! some of like our curries hot and some not , very friendly staff arranged a perfect meal to suit all our tastes, thank you . Will be back again

One of my favourite restaurants in Hove. The Devilled chicken is simply fantastic. Well worth a visit - I guarantee you'll love it.

Just had the most delicious take away this evening, prawn curry, chicken curry, king fish, mango salad and vadai, yum, yum yum!! Will definitely order again and would thoroughly recommend! ��

Delicious food, quick polite service and very reasonably priced

Delicious food, cooked to order, and excellent, friendly service. If so far you only know U.K. versions of Indian and Bangladeshi curries you are in for a real treat at 'Moonstone'. No gloopy sauces, and the flavours are fresh, with the coconut and spices beautifully balanced. There is an excellent vegetarian selection, so good that even meat-eaters like me won't miss the meat on their plate. I find the food very spicy, so do discuss how hot or mild you would like yours, they will always cook it to your taste. The value for money is excellent considering the quality. The restaurant is clean and has a modern, bistro feel. A good atmosphere and not overly noisy. Treat yourself to a dinner here and 'going out for a curry' will just never be the same again.

A week after we returned from our two week holiday in Sri Lanka we decided to treat ourselves to our first ever Moonstone take-away. The devilled beef and beetroot curry was absolutely delicious, we'll definitely be coming back for more.

A must place to go and have fab food / service ! Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly, good menu choices. Starters delicious and mains were plentiful. Lion lager was great to wash it all down with!

I can't fail the food, all very good indeed. However, I found some portions too small , plain rise for example ( came in what I would call a dressert bowl )



In addition, Sri Lanka tradition means that to get the full flavours of a traditional meal. One should order many small side dishes. Such as chickpeas, Lady Fingers etc etc but at £7.50 a dish, its very overpriced for what it is.



Its not a place I would return to frequently since I simply could not justify the cost of doing so ( what a shame )
