🌟Eventing/PC/Riding Club🌟 15hh/15.1hh rising 7yo very good looking roan gelding registered TB x Sec D.
... I have owned Dobby for 2years and I really want to make sure he finds the right home due to our busy business and therefore lack of time. He will be a fab badminton grassroots eventing prospect 90/100cm. He really enjoys his cross country storming round Norton Disney UA ODE in the 90cm with a double clear, He came 3rd (without 2 time SJ he would have won) his first outing this year and only 2nd ever event. He was 3rd at his first BE event in the 90 at Shelford a couple of months ago.
He has a lovely mouth and is really trainable now working on counter canter and leg yields. He doesn’t yank or maul you into a fence just keeps a lovely rhythm. Do to my inability to see a stride he is getting very good at helping me out🙈
He is a lovely boy in the stable and never kicks or bites. Goes on a lorry or trailer and travels and stands on the box like a lamb.
He is not totally straightforward and so I will not be letting just anyone come to try him. He can be nervous but is not malicious or nasty in anyway and is actually very genuine, he trusts you and although he can be scared by things he will always go if you reassure him. He leads our youngsters out around the farm and has never napped, reared or bucked.
If you are interested I am more than happy to tell you every little thing about him but please no time wasters or anybody wanting a novice/happy hacker/plod. We haven’t done a post recently as we have been very busy getting ☀️dusty and sweaty! ☀️with a full yard of breakers and a couple of naughties! We just wanted to say a massive thank you to several of our recent clients who allowed us a pretty free rein with their breakers, they didn’t put us under pressure of times scales and the only real request was that we exposed their horses to as many things as possible and got them as good as we possibly could. This is the dream for u...s as we don’t like sending horses home half cooked and enables us to do more than just the basics.
Obviously we are very conscious that many people have a budget to work with and we absolutely do not want to take the piss however it usually works out that the less pressure we are under means we get the job done quicker 💨💨 as the old saying goes More Haste Less Speed 👌🏻

He is not like your usual ex Racehorse in any way, he is great in all kinds of traffic, he hacks alone or in company, he will go out with another horse and leave them half way and come back by himself. He doesn’t nap AT ALL, he doesn’t rush on the way home, he doesn’t jog or chomp on the bit or snatch the reins from you. He is an absolute gentleman😍
He goes on a trailer or horse box and travels like a saint. You can clip him without even a headcoller on. He can be led around and be looked after by a small child he is never rude or bolshy.

Eventing/ Show Jumping Prospect Compact 16hh Bay 4yo Filly for sale on behalf of a client by Castleforbes Lord Lancer out of a TB mare. Very sweet and loving mare that is easy to do in all ways. Cannot believe that my best result to date British Eventing came at Shelford with my scruffy little man Dobby who 1.5yrs ago was unrideable and scared of everything. He has now flown round every cross country he has done clear and at his first BE with a 32 dressage and double clear inside the time he came equal 3rd in the 90cm at Shelford!!⭐️

As many of you know our first love is racing and so we were honoured last week to have a visit from racing royalty in the form a horse that a few people may remember from Gosden’s or Godolphin called Debussy! For those of you who don’t know he won over £800,000 which included winning the Arlington Million and coming 3rd in the Champion Stakes. He came in to be brought back into work after a period of time off and was an absolute pleasure ⭐️🏇⭐️

Our absolute legend Trafalgar is going to be sold after we have decided to retire him from racing. He will only be sold to a 10* home and preferably to somebody we know. He is a huge boy at 17.2hh 11yrs but a total gentle giant. He can be led and groomed by children. He goes on a trailer or horse box and travels like a saint, is good in traffic, to clip, to bath etc. He enjoys his work so we would like him to go somewhere he will go off hacking or on pleasure rides. I’m a bit late with this post but at the end of last week and early this week we said goodbye to four of our 4yo’s to make room for some newbies. Our smallest and tallest residents! Three were to break in and one to re-start and give some further education to. Two very well bred and beautiful movers from Four Fields Sport Horses who often have a selection of lovely young horses for sale👌🏻 #littleandlarge #allsizescateredfor 😍

When you send your youngsters in for breaking they don't just spend their days in a ménage or going round in circles. As well as having the basics done in the ménage they will spend a lot of time out and about, they are basically problem solving and figuring out where to put their feet, they are learning to think for themselves and become independent, confident and most importantly willing horses.
Everyone has their own way of doing things and we do take each horse as an individual but we do find long-lining invaluable, even for older horses that are nappy or lacking in confidence it really can make the difference. I would be surprised if there's anyone better at it than Glen for miles around! 😜

Would give 10 stars if I could. Extremely pleased with restarting my bolshy mare after 2 years off. These guys were calm, fair, professional and very knowledgable. Even taught me how to manage her naughty ways back home. Can highly recommend.

Well I sent my just 4yr old Friesian to Lucy & Glen well what more can I say pixie spent 5-6 weeks with these guys and she can home Tuesday today my dreams came true road work and bridle path hack. I can’t thank these guys enough if anyone is looking for a 5 star breaking training facility then these are the guys to go to �

We bought a fabulous pony from these guys-wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody. Totally honest and genuine pony and people. Thanks.

They are passionate, incredibly talented, helpful & supportive & I highly recommend them for anyone looking for honest quality service.

Sent my very sharp dressage horse to Glen and Lucy to back, I usually do them myself but this one proved too sharp for me. Within the first week they understood him and his quirks and I felt very comfortable that he had gone to the right place. Living over 1.5 hours away I wasn't always able to see him every week but they kept me well informed of his progress including video updates. I was able to ride him before bringing him home to allow the horse to get used to my riding style and now home so far he has been extremely relaxed and comfortable within his work. I could not have chosen a better place to send him! Although it's early days with this quirky boy I have high hopes for his future and without Glen and Lucy I'm not sure what I would have done.

Sent a homebred 4yo mare to Lucy and Glenn who had been started elsewhere and was not a great job... She was insecure in her stable and was extremely nervy to handle, never mind trying to get on her. Within a week she was riding and after 5 weeks we have a secure, forward thinking mare who is now ready to continue her education in an event yard. So pleased with their whole approach and the job they have done, have already booked in another 4yo for them to break! Highly recommended particularly if you have a sharp or difficult one �

My young mare just spent a week with Glen and Lucy in a great barn environment with a lovely stable. Glen focused on the areas I needed help with and gave me straight talking honest feedback upon collection. He demonstrated and talked me through how I need to do things and watched me do them. Back at home today she stood quietly whilst having legs hosed for the first time ever and she loaded in her trailer three times with no messing. I'm so glad I decided to send her and she will definitely be going back sometime soon. Can't recommend their Boot Camp highly enough. Thanks guys, a real difference in her but mostly in me and my confidence.

Just collected my giraffe sized 3 year old Zangersheide from Lucy & Glen, they've done a fab job of getting him started and ready to crack on with. Fantastic attitude towards the horses, wouldn't hesitate to send anything to them for breaking, reschooling or education. Wonderful set up with great facilities.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glens and Lucy if you are thinking of sending your horse away for any sort of training. Glen and Lucy came out to see Tully in December and have just had him for two weeks Feb 2017. He has had a great time - he has been introduced to jumping and fillers in fantastic, experienced hands and has come home happy and confident. Also a massive change in his loading thanks to their work with him.. An hour to get him on the trailer to go there and not even 2 minutes to get him on to go home... And he went off and on many times. Thank you!

I would recommend Lucy and Glen to anyone! My horse was a dangerous ticking time bomb before they had him,he was extremely sharpe and just wanted to bolt. No one would even ride my horse but after Glen had spent some time with him he was like a new horse. Lucy spent some time with me in the school before I took him back home, making sure I was confident that they had transformed my horse. They are both very honest and gave me a lot of good advice and gave me confidence to now be enjoying my horse, I literally love riding him now,couldn't believe the difference.Lucy will still text to see how my horse is getting on ,which is nice! Honestly couldn't recommend these guys enough!!!

I took my warmblood to M and S as she couldn't be shod without sedation. They had a lovely low pressure approach and today she was shod at home with no problems at all. They are lovely people and work with you to achieve the best outcomes. Thank you. X

I sent my lovely young Dressage boy to Lucy & Glen for some jump schooling so he could have some fun & experience new surroundings.They were both amazing with him,even when he was a Diva & he learnt so much.He came back looking so well!!! Highly recommend them both & excellent with all types of horses.Thank you both.

I really liked the look of the videos on the page and thought this kind of work would benefit my unbroken 4 year old. I didn't just want the standard school work, but more an all round education. I sent my youngster to Glen and Lucy in May, and he has come back to me an absoloute superstar. Glen and Lucy sent me weekly updates which included videos and detailed messages about how his week had gone and I was invited to visit as often as I liked. I felt fully confident that Herbie was being looked after, he was enjoying his time and he was learning everyday. Before Herbie returned home, I was invited to ride him not just in the school, but on a hack and around the XC course to ensure that I was happy with his going. Glen and Lucy did more with my youngster than I ever expected they would achieve with him, and I wouldn't send any future horses of mine anywhere else. After searching for months to find a breakers with good reviews I decided to send my precious 4 year old to Glen and Lucy to break and I can’t thank them enough for the amazing job they have done with him. They had there ups and downs with him as he’s a cheeky monkey but were patient and didn’t rush him and after 6-7 weeks I now have a beautifully balanced, soft mouthed four year old with a great attitude to work.. After much deliberating about where to send my tricky mare to be re-started I’m very glad with the choice I made. Being in the ‘job’ myself And doing it single handedly I understand how hard it is and how difficult what they do is!!! Especially with a tricky one! After spending months researching breakers in Leicestershire and surrounding areas, I came across Morris and Smith by chance. I really liked the look of the videos on the page and thought this kind of work would benefit my unbroken 4 year old. I didn't just want the standard school work, but more an all round education. I sent my youngster to Glen and Lucy in May, and he has come back to me an absoloute superstar. Glen and Lucy sent me weekly updates which included videos and detailed messages about how his week had gone and I was invited to visit as often as I liked. I felt fully confident that Herbie was being looked after, he was enjoying his time and he was learning everyday. Before Herbie returned home, I was invited to ride him not just in the school, but on a hack and around the XC course to ensure that I was happy with his going. Glen and Lucy did more with my youngster than I ever expected they would achieve with him, and I wouldn't send any future horses of mine anywhere else. I thoroughly recommend if you want the perfect start to your horses education. I cannot praise Morris and Smith Equine enough and I trust them completely. After searching for months to find a breakers with good reviews I decided to send my precious 4 year old to Glen and Lucy to break and I can’t thank them enough for the amazing job they have done with him. They had there ups and downs with him as he’s a cheeky monkey but were patient and didn’t rush him and after 6-7 weeks I now have a beautifully balanced, soft mouthed four year old with a great attitude to work.. I’m so excited for his future.. Thank you so much guys!! Recommend to everyone!! �����

After much deliberating about where to send my tricky mare to be re-started I’m very glad with the choice I made. Being in the ‘job’ myself And doing it single handedly I understand how hard it is and how difficult what they do is!!! Especially with a tricky one! Lucy was really good and kept in touch with me about her progress. Glen was amazing at getting her going when she threw some stuff at them! Well I sent my just 4yr old Friesian to Lucy & Glen well what more can I say pixie spent 5-6 weeks with these guys and she can home Tuesday today my dreams came true road work and bridle path hack. Sent my very sharp dressage horse to Glen and Lucy to back, I usually do them myself but this one proved too sharp for me. Within the first week they understood him and his quirks and I felt very comfortable that he had gone to the right place. Living over 1.5 hours away I wasn't always able to see him every week but they kept me well informed of his progress including video updates. I was able to ride him before bringing him home to allow the horse to get used to my riding style and now home so far he has been extremely relaxed and comfortable within his work. I could not have chosen a better place to send him! Although it's early days with this quirky boy I have high hopes for his future and without Glen and Lucy I'm not sure what I would have done.

Sent a homebred 4yo mare to Lucy and Glenn who had been started elsewhere and was not a great job... She was insecure in her stable and was extremely nervy to handle, never mind trying to get on her. Within a week she was riding and after 5 weeks we have a secure, forward thinking mare who is now ready to continue her education in an event yard. So pleased with their whole approach and the job they have done, have already booked in another 4yo for them to break! Highly recommended particularly if you have a sharp or difficult one �

My young mare just spent a week with Glen and Lucy in a great barn environment with a lovely stable. Glen focused on the areas I needed help with and gave me straight talking honest feedback upon collection. He demonstrated and talked me through how I need to do things and watched me do them. Back at home today she stood quietly whilst having legs hosed for the first time ever and she loaded in her trailer three times with no messing. I'm so glad I decided to send her and she will definitely be going back sometime soon. Can't recommend their Boot Camp highly enough. Thanks guys, a real difference in her but mostly in me and my confidence.

Just collected my giraffe sized 3 year old Zangersheide from Lucy & Glen, they've done a fab job of getting him started and ready to crack on with. Fantastic attitude towards the horses, wouldn't hesitate to send anything to them for breaking, reschooling or education. Wonderful set up with great facilities.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Glens and Lucy if you are thinking of sending your horse away for any sort of training. Glen and Lucy came out to see Tully in December and have just had him for two weeks Feb 2017. He has had a great time - he has been introduced to jumping and fillers in fantastic, experienced hands and has come home happy and confident. Also a massive change in his loading thanks to their work with him.. An hour to get him on the trailer to go there and not even 2 minutes to get him on to go home... And he went off and on many times. Thank you!

I would recommend Lucy and Glen to anyone! My horse was a dangerous ticking time bomb before they had him,he was extremely sharpe and just wanted to bolt. No one would even ride my horse but after Glen had spent some time with him he was like a new horse. Lucy spent some time with me in the school before I took him back home, making sure I was confident that they had transformed my horse. They are both very honest and gave me a lot of good advice and gave me confidence to now be enjoying my horse, I literally love riding him now,couldn't believe the difference.Lucy will still text to see how my horse is getting on ,which is nice! Honestly couldn't recommend these guys enough!!!

I took my warmblood to M and S as she couldn't be shod without sedation. They had a lovely low pressure approach and today she was shod at home with no problems at all. They are lovely people and work with you to achieve the best outcomes. Thank you. X
