Would give 50 stars if I could. We visited last night to watch Disney on ice with my 6 year old son who has autism. He is obsessed with Mickey Mouse and when we got there he started to get upset because he wanted to get nearer to the front , not understanding we had allocated seats etc. He got very upset which resulted in a meltdown. A member of staff offered to move us closer, which didn’t work because if anything he could see the front more which just intensified his need to get closer. we then left the arena as it wasn’t fair on everyone else nor on our son who was very upset at this point and was happy to accept we tried but on this occasion like many others he couldn’t cope with it.

A man ( Steve ) then chased us out and asked if there was anymore they could do? We thanked him but said no it was probably best we went home. Steve then offered us a suite - which is away from everyone else , saying that we had just as much right as anyone to see it and that they’d like to be given the opportunity to help him and us enjoy the show. We said we would give it a go and thankfully my son calmed down and absolutely loved the rest of the show.

Thank you so so much to all the staff for your help and understanding last night. It meant the world to us and our son! THANK YOU

User

Went to see Dancing on Ice tonight and one member of your team was AMAZING... an elderly gentleman in my block fell down the stairs head first... she was there instantly to confort him and sent for help. At no point did she leave his side. I didn’t get her name but she was absolutely incredible. Well done. She even made sure she helped him at the very end. She deserves praise she was 5 star x

User

Went to the script last night and what can I say about the staff 100% amazing very well looked after . Everything went smoothly when being let in ,we was right at the front and was given cups of water every time we ask witch was great the guys at the front was very chatty and polite well done guys keep up the good work would defo concert here again

We have just spent the evening at arena watching Michael McIntyre. I would just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for their help and attentiveness. It was the first time we had taken my mum to a concert/show at the arena. She is in a wheelchair and was feeling a little apprehensive of how she would cope. From start to finish the staff were amazing. Allowing her to take her wheelchair directly to her seat and then bringing it back to her as soon as she needed it. We will definitely all be coming back again in the future...including the wheelchair!

User

My sister and i came to see Evanescence on tuesday night and were lucky enough to have had tickets including the meal and complimentary drinks before hand, the staff in the Platinum Restaurant were fantastic and the food was amazing and show itself was the most stunning performance i have ever seen,it was truly breathtaking...My only gripe of the night was the fact that we were not able to purchase a souvenir programme as on discovering the Merch stand located closest to our seats had sold out we were directed round the side of the building to another entrance(the merch stand was inside these doors) only to be told we couldnt have access and we would have to walk around the whole other side of the building again to get through to the merch stand when we could of quite easily gone through were we were....all in all it was an amazing night just misinformation from the staff, who got annoyed when we said we had been directed to this entrance, disappointed us as we had travel arrangements to keep to...cant wait to come back again!

User

Me, my mum and gran attended dancing on ice on Wednesday as part of a holiday. I must say this is by one far one of the best arenas I have been too, the staff situated all around the arena clearly had all attendants at the heart of they’re job. They helped nearly everyone get to where they needed to be and even giving the elderly a helping hand! Great arena, amazing staff I certainly won’t hesitate to come back. Thanks

User

I went to see Dancing on Ice last night with my Mum and Sister and the three of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately there was an accident near where we were sat on row L seats 1, 2 and 3 in block 12 during the interval. An elderly gentleman fell down the stairs backwards. One of the Arena staff was nearby and couldn’t do enough to help the gentleman, she stayed calm and professional, she stayed with him until help arrived from the first aiders and when he returned to new seats after being checked over she was looking for him to check he was ok. At the end of the show she came back to him to help him down the stairs and continued to help others with walking difficulties. This lady was incredible and an asset to the team working the show last night. Well done.

User

I came to see Nickleback on 13th may. What a fantastic venue. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and well organised .from the security staff checking your bag to the stewards and bar staff. Well done and thank you to everyone involved. I felt safe and relaxed which only added to an amazing event !!!!!!!

User

Can somebody please tell me why you cannot keep the cap on the bottle of water purchased at the bars. It makes no sense and is ridiculous in that the cap stops spillage. Holding onto an open bottle of water all night is impractical.

User

Attended Disney on ice with my son (5) and at beginning i was so impressed, my son got nervous about stairs to our seats and i had a drink in each hand so the man who shown us where our row was helped him and i thanked him as my son is an anxious child. At the interval i took him toilet to try (im also 24 weeks pregnant) on way back he saw something on a shop so i said we will go back at the end as the shows starting again in a minute, then 5 mins to the end he said he needed the toilet again, so i said wait for the end as its nearly finished and he wouldnt want to miss the end. On our way a lady was trying to tell us straight outside, i said cant he even use the toilet and she said no straight out. A lady next to me asked about pregnant women as she is also expecting so we still managed to go but thats not the point. The point is my son would have 1 - had a meltdown about not going back to the shop (awaiting his referral for possible autism/adhd) and 2 - he would have wet himself before we got home as theres no where close by with toilets and we were being picked up from round the corner. Completely put me off ever returning for any show again! Was no need for it, the people leaving from doors nearer to toilet had no one directing them outside and refusing them the toilets so why should any other area get this? If theres a show am i going to have to make sure i choose seats nearer to the exit near the toilet so if i promise my son an item he saw on the shop or tell him i will take him toilet at the end we can actually do it? Although booking again is very unlikely if this is how it is. No one has the right to tell anyone whether they can use the toilet or not and if i allowed him to pee up the wall outside you would soon send security out!! If i wasnt pregnant my son would have been heartbroken about the item i promised he could buy and would have been even worse having an accident as he has anxiety!! The first man made it seem good but that woman really needs to get some pills from the gp to cheer up a little bit as there was no need at all

User

We traveled by coach from Skegness to see Strictly Come Dancing last night. Our group were all in their 70's, getting up to our seats was made very difficult as there wasn't enough railings to hold onto. We had to ask for help from people who were already in the their seats!! At interval time so many ladies needed the toilets that the wait was nearly half an hour. As staff could see the problem they turfed the men out of their toilet, & said the ladies could use it !! Motorpoint you really are going to have to sort these problems out...

User

We attended the playoffs again this year and I appreciate that security has increased due to the recent events but I think all staff should be informing customers the same. We had our bag searched and we could not take brioches in for our children, no problem they ate them.

I then spoke to 2 members of staff inside and enquired with them, what was allowed to be brought into the arena. I was informed that a bottle of pop and a packet of sweets per person was allowed. I thanked them for their help.

After the first game had finished, we had a walk into town and purchased 2 x 500ml Pepsi Max bottles. When we returned to the arena we were refused entry again, due to us purchasing Pepsi and not Cola and was informed due to the arena only selling Cola we were not allowed, as this would be breaching sponsorship rules!

Another complaint I have to make is I noticed that there was a deal on the big screen for certain alcoholic beverages at £4 per pint. I purchased 2 pints in the deal and was asked for £11:90. I enquired with the member of staff, as to why it was that much as it stated it was £4 a pint hence the total cost should have been £8.

I was informed that you had to put a deposit down on the plastic cup and when you had finished the drink, return it and a £1 refund was given back to the customer. But this still does not make the drink £4?

I think policies need to be reviewed, advertising made clearer and all staff to be informed of the protocols regarding the arena.

User

This is not necessarily your doing but you did allow it. Parents, grandparents etc today have been robbed in broad daylight. Seriously to turn off your slushy machines to force people to pay 11 quid for an olaf cup filled with ice is shameful. People would have saved to purchase a ticket for their family to only then feel like a complete failure to their children for having to say no to £11 slushes and £9 popcorn. Concerts do not charge this much! Are you using kids to extort their parents? It's disgusting the company you used should be banned from these events. So frustrating!!

User

Not the best booking system you have.

I have just booked for Disney on Ice in April and after the full transaction completed I receive a confirmation email with my seats that tell me these seats are not suitable for young children.... I have a 2 and 4 year old, yet at no point throughout booking did it mention this nor did it ask if adult or child seating... and at the bottom of my confirmation email it states Non refundable..... GREAT.....!!!!!

User

Not sure where you have found the plexiglass glass from in front of block 11 but it's appalling! I am watching the game through a fog of scratches. Not good enough. I have been a season ticket holder for many years and expect better than this. This along with many other issues at the arena make me reluctant to renew next year. An explanation would be welcome.

User

It would be great if you stop upping the prices. I'm a season ticket holder for the Panthers and it's starting to get beyond a joke.

The prices for some pint have gone up from £4.50 to £4.90, and £5 for a bottle of Cider, with no justification. Similarly with the vending machines, £3 for a packet of sweets and now £2.50 for a 500ml bottle of coke (previously £2)

I won't be buying and drinks or food from the arena until you make the prices more reasonable. We're not in London! So don't charge London prices.
