I rang up and booked a table for my birthday. The setting tables were lovely and had a very warm welcome from the staff . Food was 5 star and the staff would go out of there way to help you ...and if you get chance try the gurkha beer it's one of the best I have had .... so my summary is 5 star place 5 star food 5 star staff well worth a visit

Having recently moved to Long Eaton and an avid Indian food seeker, we found Mount Gurkha Spice and what a golden find this is. Whether take-away or visiting for pleasant in-house meal, the taste of food is simply sublime. Super, professional, friendly service in a clean, spacious setting, it has a wonderful atmosphere. Curries have the right blend of spice and textures are mouth watering. You get fluffy rice, with breads cooked just perfect. Good selection of wines, beers - especially their Gurkha lager, they compliment each other. Prices are value for money as portions are generous. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough - if you want a great meal out - you won't regret going here. Enjoy 👏👌👍🤗

Amazing food!!

After so many disappointing meals in local Indian restaurants we prefer to cook at home from scratch. After recommendation, we ate here tonight and were totally blown away. The food is spiced beautifully, it's fresh and aromatic, as an Indian should be. Cannot recommend highly enough. 6* !!

Visited for NYE, lovely place, fantastic service and fantastic food. Food is fairly priced and well worth the money, drinks on the other hand we felt were overpriced. £16,95 for the cheapest bottle of white eeeek. We did however get a free glass of champagne with it being NYE - nice touch! Would definitely back but not with the intention of drinking anything more than water :'), thankyou for a lovely night and see you soon!

Lovely meal enjoyed by all on New Years Eve. Long wait due to it being very busy, but when the food came out it was lovely and hot.... worth the wait. Drinks are a little over priced, but over all a wonderful evening! I will defo be coming back. :)

I don't get it? How can a place that serves food the quality of what we had last night be empty? Yes it was Tuesday but people still eat on Tuesdays.. they were also doing an offer until 8pm but when i walked past at 7pm and again at 7.30 there were no diners.. we got there after the offer had finished and were the only people there, suffice to say we had excellent service, the food was maelous and cooked to our preference, my only criticism is that drinks are very overpriced.
