💗A big thank you to everyone who helped us raise £277 for Breast Cancer Care💗We had a lovely day on Friday and it was great to see so many people willing to help us raise so much money, it was quite overwhelming. We will be ringing a few people tomorrow who won raffle prizes and we will also be posting a big thank you list to the people and businesses who donated prizes. We've been open a little over 3 months now and I just wanted to thank everyone who has been to the tea room, it has been amazing and it's been so good to get to know a lot of you. we've been meaning to pop in for a while since it's just around the corner but made it toddy with a friend and our daughters for a quick drink before dancing. fabulous atmosphere exactly like being back in time and all staff are really friendly. we loved the fresh tea even if we couldn't drink it all and the girls enjoyed there milkshakes. we will be back for a Mrs Cs tea as it sounded delightful x

What a pleasant surprise ! So authentic ... the afternoon tea was devine. From the dress and homely decor, Karen made myself and my sister feel right at home. Great value for money and friendly ambiance...will definitely be going back. Thank you Mrs C for a wonderful afternoon to remember. Went today with my friend jill absolutely loved it .it really is a special tea room with great attention to detail the afternoon tea was beautiful sandwiches quiche pork pie crisps salad coleslaw then a lovely scone with jam and cream plus home made cake which I brought home I was so full .the ladies that run it are immaculate in dress and very chatty and pleasant thank you ladies we had a fabulous day and will definitely return .x

Went here today and really loved it, did pork pie and mushy peas, even though it's not on the menu, would definitely go again and would recommend to everyone.

Went for afternoon tea for Mother’s Day.....what a lovely, welcoming, charming place! You can feel the relaxed atmosphere when entering and it was like walking into a 40’s parlour room.......we had two younger people in our group aged 26 and 7 and was quite nice for them to see a simple tea pot with cosy and tea strainer as they don’t know they exist ha! Food was lovely and so much for the money as very good value and we all left very full. The last thing I have to mention were the staff.....what can I say other than friendly, helpful and very polite and efficient! Loved the whole experience because that’s what it was an experience not just afternoon tea. Definitely want to visit again. �xx

We visited today was really impressed. What a lovely unique vintage tea room with great friendly staff and amazing cakes. We had Mrs C's Afternoon Tea which is great value for money, food was lovely and is plentiful. Thank you Mrs C and team for a lovely afternoon. �

This place is just amazing! We hosted my sisters surprise baby shower here on Sunday 13th May 2018 and it was brill! Karen was amazing and accommodated all our needs even though we were all very loud and giddy! Thanks again Karen!

I had an egg mayo sandwich my husband had a ploughman's lunch absolutely fabulous and I particularly liked my triple decker sandwich.

Lovely time at the tea rooms with my best friend ploughmans was lovely and my friend had quiche which she said was nice followed by a warm date and walnut scone with cream and jam. It's got a lovely atmosphere and the staff are so nice and friendly x

I've been twice now the food and staff are lovely and if you want a treat or just a coffee and a catch up I would definitely recommend it

I visited this morning with my auntie, we was welcomed into the tea room by the lovely Karen ‘Mrs C’ and Sam. I enjoyed a ham salad sandwich served with salad, crisps and coleslaw, a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and a home made brownie with clotted cream to finish. We have left extremely full and very impressed by the generous portions of high quality food for great value prices!

I brought my mum here for lunch today and it was fantastic! The food was lovely , the tearoom is amazing and Mrs c kindly posed for a picture for my mum! Would highly recommend will be back �

Came a couple of weeks ago with a friend as my Son had designed the menu' s etc and I had been promising his girlfriend I would pop in.

Well what can I say Karen and Sam were lovely. We both had the special afternoon tea. Wow it was beautiful. Huge pot of tea, lovely sandwiches, pork pie and warm cheese and onion quiche. Crisps and coleslaw and a side salad. Then came the cakes! OMG we had to take our cake away as we were so full. A fabulous choice of scone which came warm with raspberry jam and clotted cream and a huge slice of homemade cake, again a big selection. Fantastic value for money and a proper gem of a find. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Mrs C. Xxx

Been in Mrs C's twice now with the ladies from work.... really love it here always made to feel very welcome!! Food is amazing and so is the loose leaf tea....so tasty!! Will definitely be back!! ���
