A shout out to Sarah this morning, Sarah missed leg day last week due to work commitments, but keen to not miss out we squeezed in an extra session this week, and boy did she deliver, not only smashing a heavy leg session she delivered on the Deadlift, ringing the 100kg šŸ›Ž Well done Sarah, keep up the great work!

Meet Neil, Neil came to see me a few weeks ago, having never picked up any weights before. Neil listens to technique, and understands the importance of lifting safely. Tonight after mastering the deadlift, Neil threw up 85kg, with plenty left in the tank. Look at that angry face! Lift Safely, Lift Smart. Be like Neil! P.S. donā€™t turn up late to sessions or you will get hammered on the prowler. #dontbelikeneil

Continuing with Leg Day @mtptfitness this week, hereā€™s Gina, an awesome leg day smash this morning. Gina came in a little disheartened today as she had been weighed this morning and not lost any weight. The tape measure however showed a very different story. Ginaā€™s results showed she had lost cmā€™s all over. On reflection Gina then revealed that yes her clothes felt better so she must be changing. KEEP OFF THE SCALES people! Great work this evening with clients. Working off the weekend with an awesome leg day, after smashing PBā€™s on Deadlift, we finished with Prowler Sprints! Ooosh Jelly Legs all round! Great work Ladies, donā€™t forget to stretch when you spring from your beds in the AM.

ā­ļø Monday Motivation ā­ļø
Clare joined MTPT just before Christmas last year. And what with Christmas Parties & then the lurgy we were well into January before she was able to train, let alone train 3 times a week.
Now fast forward 12 weeks and Clare is ready for her holiday. Look how much tighter Clare looks, she has bought dresses for her trip and a bikini, wardrobe items Clare has not considered wearing in years.
... But for me, itā€™s not about the numerous inches she has dropped, though I do love that she skips in every 2-3 weeks saying sheā€™s had to buy more new work clothes as the ones she bought last month now donā€™t fit. But itā€™s about the confidence Clare has found, the energy she brings to each and every session. And did I mention she smashed a 100kg Barbell Squat today! 12 weeks ago, she was out of breath holding just the bar!

So after reaching my mid 40s and never doing any exercise I needed to change but was always too self conscious to go to the gym. After finding Michelle 1 I signed up straight away. On my initial session I struggled to lift a bar with no weights or do a single press up! With Michelle's help, support and guidance I can do press ups and squat lift 80kg!! Lost inches, gained more confidence and feel great! Give it a go worth ever penny and totally enjoyable!

The sessions are varied and fun, well as fun as an exercise class can be. I like the variety of the classes from week to week which is helped by Michelleā€™s sense of humour. I have also done a shared pt session with Michelle. I would certainly recommend Michelleā€™s classes to anyone and everyone.
