Trying out a dairy/egg free recipe for Welsh cakes today! Looking good so far. Happy Tuesday x
Watching the sun rise this morning - that hour going back has a lot to answer for!!!
Here's the little chap living behind the pots and the fence! He jumps out whenever I water the plants - but now that I know where he lives I don't jump! X
Think you can tell it turned out pretty well! Lots of willing 'guinea pigs' trialled it for me and the verdict was 100% positive - although one or two needed a second try - just to be sure! It's a winner and my new 'go to' chocolate cake recipe x
First go at a vegan chocolate cake recipe! Well it's risen and will post another pic once the frosting's on - or just maybe there will be slice missing from that pic! X
Spotted this tiny little field mouse in the garden - the undergrowth is clearly attracting local wildlife - must see if I can photograph the toad that I've caught glimpses of too - I knew I was going for a country style garden design for a reason!! X
Mr Nana has a new friend - the baby robin doesn't think his toenails are in the least bit grim!!
A bowlful of garden roses next to Auntie's favourite bluebirds china - she loved the garden too bless her - happy memories of a treasured family member on this glorious sunshiny Monday x
Happy Easter - just waiting for the sunshine! X
Warming beef casserole for dinner and roaring fire in the lounge - how many weeks to midsummer??? Xx
The wind and rain are blowing rose petals all over the garden today so rescued a few this morning to enjoy indoors! Happy Monday - stay dry! Xx
So what's with these gusts of wind blowing the newly opened roses all over the garden?! British summers huh! Now have to cut some of these pink beauties and fill vases everywhere - every cloud! Happy BH weekend!
Well the sunshine is well and truly here and woven its magic - the roses are all coming into bloom and the fragrance is glorious - today I will be mostly in the garden breathing it all in before the thunderstorms strike!! Happy Friday xxx
It's been a busy few days in the garden - Mr Nana has excelled himself making another set of shelves and the old stepladder is perfect for the small pots x
New uses for shelving and old washstand top outdoors! Think I need more pots! X
