Hi everyone, just to let you know that although Nanna's Kitchen sadly had to close a few months ago, kayleigh and some of the original staff are now up and running at vintage Retreat Tearoom, lower Harding street (Near the train station). We have our original menu and are offering vegan/ veggie and gluten free options. We cater for most dietary requirements and would love to see you in our new location x

Hey all. A random question, but would anyone like a few litres of ham stock for soups/ gravy/ meat sauces/ béchamel/ your Christmas dinner? I'll freeze it (it lasts for 3 months frozen) and anyone who'd like some/ all, please just ask. It can be quite salty apparently, so just add in some sage to reduce saltiness. (It's made with unsmoked gammon, carrots, onions, leeks, peppercorns & cinnamon). Ta xx

Hi all. Just to let you know our heaters are on full blast, but if coming for a luncheon with a friend etc, please remember to wrap up warm. We have hot water bottles available to all if required, or rather, we insist... Apologies for the cold... xx

Lovely chai lattes and scummy homemade cakes plus lots of books and toys for the kids and fish in a bowl!! Highly recommend this place. Best cafe in town and lovely place to shop

I had vegan quiche and salad to take out. Tasted great! Being vegan I hadn't had quiche for ages.

Grand food, excellent vegan options avaliable, staff polite and considerate.

Gorgeous food, great value and love the quirky style....will definitely be back :)

Fantastic lunch Apple Maple Drink, spinach, mushrooms and cheese on toast with coleslaw and side salad. The food is amazing, fresh and beautifully prepared .

Enjoyed a delicious and very generously sized oat n raisin cookie here yesterday. Wonderful mocha too!

Big brekkie. Oat & raisin cookie. Quiche. Carrot cake and more.... equals a very happy vegan. Please never change Nanna's Kitchen I love you just the way you are :) Ps why does fb say you are in Texas?!

Amazing cakes donated from Nannas Kitchen for the Syria Charity Bake Sale on Saturday, the cakes they donated and voucher for lunch for two was fantastic, we auctioned them all of which raised a total of £450!!!! The total raised was £1850, so a significant amount achieved with their help, £100 feeds a family of 4 for a month, so that helped 18 people!

Massive thanks for supporting the event and donating the cakes. It really did make a massive difference!
