Great advice resource regarding different #CyberScams #Grooming and other #onlinedangers from Safer Derbyshire
Neighbourhood Alert Director Mike Douglas visited Elland Road in Leeds today. It was not to see the Mighty Leeds United but to discuss the launch of the latest Critical Messaging system for Police emergency officers.
Mike Douglas said “Today was a superb meeting with really proactive officers. The system was thoroughly tested and we are looking at a go live this month.
All in all, this was a much more productive and successful meeting than Elland Road usually experiences when Nottingham visits :)”

On behalf of all Neighbourhood Alert members in the UK, a small team from VISAV joined a thousand others to walk up Great Gable in the Lake District. We laid a commemorative wreath at the top after a steep ascent for three hours, mostly against the elements.
A short service around the official war memorial https://www.iwm.org.uk/memorials/item/mem orial/3961 and a two minute silence was followed by a round of applause and a mass descent from the cold, wet and windy location.
