Our home is a lovely single-storey building in the picturesque south Derbyshire village of Netherseal. Set in four and a half acres of parkland, it provides a peaceful and relaxed environment, with local amenities such as a post office, shops and pubs only yards away.
The historic market town of Ashby de la Zouch is nearby. Other attractions to enjoy in the local area include Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor theme park and Calke Abbey.
Our residents make sure their home has a welcoming and lively atmosphere. We offer a wide range of activities in the home, including painting, gardening and board and card games.
We have an annual fête in June each year, and organise other fundraising events including coffee mornings, bingo evenings and fashion shows. In the summer, one of our highlights is our seaside day out.

Don't forget- our Annual fete takes place tomorrow from 12-5pm. Entry is £1.50 for those over the age of 12. We look forward to seeing lots of you there!
Come and enjoy our annual fete. There'll be a number of stalls, a range of food and drink, live acts, music, a dog show an RAF fly past and much much more!
This event has grown in popularity over the years as more and more people open their garages and sell unwanted items. All proceeds from the entrance fee and the food and drinks this year will be for the benefit of LCD Newlands House. Space for tables are available ,if you don't have a garage!
