Nhs Blood Donation

Yesterday I went for my first blood donation, the staff were very attentive offering glasses of juice and snack before and after my donation. They were very reassuring and were keeping me up to date with how far I was with it. I will be donating again in November, it is a very rewarding feeling. Thank you to all the staff who helped

The only thing that bothers me is the parking it should be free the staff are brilliant my experience was too need to get 50 pints just done 43 !! Xx

Looked after so well from beginning to end. It was my 13th donation. It was abit of a wait due to shortage of staff but didnt mind that..only downside was Jeremy Kyle on the tv! �!have seen signs re ticket validation but tbh thought it was if you had a disability. I only went to wilko afterwards then back to the car and it cost £6.60 tbh it usuallt is that price what do i do show ticket at reception? Whoever owns tve car park ought to waiver the ticket. Sometimes wish i could donate in a sat or sun at the venue.

Just moved to Nottingham and decided to donate blood close to my workplace. The centre was easy to find. Staff very friendly. Great first time experience :)

I was also looking for a centre to donate platelets for years and now when in Notts was informed I could donate here! very happy about it!!

Just done my 4th donation and I can't praise the NHS staff here enough! They're friendly, approachable, they make you feel comfortable and at ease with what you're doing and do an excellent job! Fantastic! Plus free biscuits! ��

Just completed 150 donation great staff I all ways comfortable in their care

All nursers are worth every penny and more without their dedication and commitment doner centres,hospitals and health centers would be non functional xx

It was my 30th and I only go because they have orange club biscuits no just kidding it's nice too feel like you're doing your bit,place is great staff are lovely

I visit here every 2 or 3 weeks to make my Platelet donation. The building is easy to get to and navigate around, open and bright.

The staff have always been very welcoming and supportive and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

The only issue I've had visiting here is the cost of parking in the adjacent Trinity Sq car park. My donation takes 70-80 minutes and with the screening process and disconnection from the machine can soon take you over 2 hours parking and a fee of £6.30. However, if you present your ticket to the cashier by the exit barrier and are prepared to show your donation scar they will reduce it for you which I think is a decent gesture.

I donate Platelets every 2-3 weeks, bit of a trek from Derby but the fact of helping others cancels that out. I am always made welcome by the friendly staff, they make it an easy and relaxed process. Can't praise the Blood Donation enough. I will keep coming as long as I'm able and wanted.��

Hi been today and donated my 80th blood donation. Not bad for someone who doesn't like needles. Staff are always welcoming and make sure you are ok. Then the tea lady sits and chats to you whilst you are resting.

Great place very kind and friendly staff and understanding too definitely recommend to any one for giving blood was my first time at this place and was very nice x

Great new facility in the centre of town so access a lot easier than it was before.

As normal brilliant staff and excellent at looking after you. One thing that is rubbish is the NHS refund the car parking fee but surely the trinity square car park should pay for this. It is wrong that the NHS should have to pay for people to park to give blood and platelets.

All the staff are always really friendly whenever I donate. Out of all the locations in the city over the years, this is definitely the best.
