20th-21st August 2018 | Next Generation Rugby Camp at Old Scouts

On Friday, November 23rd, 2018 we will be hosting the Grand Rouge 2, in celebration of James Smith, Old Scout from 8-38 years of age, who died suddenly in 2016 of HCM. Funds raised will be donated to the Miles Frost foundation.
This years event will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Northampton. We are honoured to have the legend that is David Flatman (Bath, England and Podcast god) as our compere and guest speaker.
We will also be joined by a number of special guests and speake...rs including; Micky Yule (Paralympian and military veteran), Gareth Batty (England Cricketer), Ben Cohen (Saints and England) and Adam Jones (Wales and British and Irish Lions).
Dress code - Black tie and cocktail dress.
Three course meal, Live music, auction and raffle.
Tickets are £50 each or £600/table.

A Proper Rugby Club. Bedford enjoying a wind down after training at Northampton Old Scouts RFC this afternoon before heading off to watch cricket 20/20. What a great bunch of lads 💪🍺🍔🏉

Despite the sunny cricket weather, its time to start looking forward to the forthcoming 2018/19 rugby season. All players, coaches and parents are encouraged to attend.
Whilst the formalities of the AGM have to be served, it's also a great opportunity to find out how the club is moving forward particularly in respect of membership management, player registration and subs payments, all of which will be changing this coming season.
It would be fantastic, not least essential, we... have representation from every team/age group from U6s through to 1XV.

Pre season training for the seniors starts on Tuesday 3rd July at 7.30pm, sessions will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Whether you are an existing player, returning to the game or new to the sport why not come down as we are always on the look out for players.
Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, improve your rugby, or meet new friends we’d love you to join us, please get in contact or just turn up and identify yourself to one of our coaches.

ANNUAL SAUSAGE & CIDER FESTIVAL

We have held our 10 year anniversary wedding renewals over the weekend here and it has been fantastic. We were given pretty much free reign to decorate as we wished and actually held the renewal under the posts outside the clubhouse. Laura was so helpful in making arrangements and ensuring they had the bar stocked with our preferences. The bar staff were so good helping clear up on the evening when worse for wear we would have struggled. Been brilliant with everything. Thank you Old Scouts.

We had the most amazing preschool graduation at this venue yesterday .

Laura is so friendly and helpful and really couldn’t do anymore for us , made sure we were ok and even offered to help set up !! The venue offered so much space , more than we even needed , the inside was immaculate and looked after incredibly well , the access to inside and out was perfect as the sun began to shine , the use of the bar was fab as we were able to offer a range of refreshments to staff and families ( Laura stayed for the whole party to ensure everyone was catered for ). The kitchen is huge , so if you are thinking of catering for any event this would be perfect for that too !

We want to say on behalf of KidsStop thank you sooo much you were amazing �

This is a great family club where everyone is felt welcome

Rugby club that welcomes all who play for no other reason than they love the game and welcomes all regardless of age or experience. Come and join in the success of those who through their efforts have gone on to success at every level of the game. Oh, and the beers good as well !

Proper rugby club. Played here for a year when I first moved to England.

One of if not the best rugby clubs in Northampton. I had the privilege of joining the Scouts at the age of 7 an that kick started my love for rugby an I've never looked back since.

My son has been playing for Old Scouts for nearly 3 years. He never played the game before but due to the coaching and encouragement from everyone at the club he is going from strength to strength. It is a family friendly club and makes anyone new at the club feel welcome. I would definitely recommend the club to anyone's son or daughter who wants to play rugby.

My eldest lad plays here and cannot fault the coaches/helpers - everybody is fab ! We also held a 70th birthday party here for my mother in law recently. Nothing was too much trouble for the bar staff - including helping the DJ pack away at the end of the evening !!
