Nottingham Hong Kong Public Affairs And Social Services Description
Nottingham Hong Kong Public Affairs and Social Services (also known as NottsPASS) is a non-profit, student-led society that aims to promote public awareness on current affairs and to offer social services opportunities for students to contribute back to the society.
We are aware that there is a lack of political awareness and community involvement amongst Asian students in the University of Nottingham. Thus, we want to provide a platform for students to discuss and exchange ideas on global and local sociopolitical issues and to apply newly acquired knowledge on social issues to their community work.
NottsPASS was established in 2013. Since its establishment, the society has brought much to fellow members and students. We endeavor to, with our aspiration and ambition, take NottsPASS to new heights. Above all, we welcome suggestions and new perspectives from students and our fellow PASS societies. Together, we can construct a better PASS and provide students with a fruitful year.
