Welcome to Nursing and Midwifery at NUH. The Trust’s wide range of specialities, clinical wards and departments offers a variety of insights and experiences of nursing and healthcare.
We have more than 4, 000 registered nurses and midwives and 1, 000 support workers and healthcare assistants on our team.
We support people in hospital and the community when they are at their most vulnerable. The way we care makes a difference to patients, their families and carers’ lives every day.
We aim to be a centre for nursing and midwifery excellence, recognised both nationally and internationally for our practice, education and research. We will provide compassionate, safe and thoughtful care and ensure we achieve the Chief Nursing Officer’s national vision for nursing, including the ‘6Cs’ fundamental values:
