Thanks to everyone who came to visit Oakwell Hall over Christmas. We’re getting ready for February Half term when the hall will be open from 12-4pm on Tuesday to Thursday, as well as normal weekend hours.
In the meantime, the hall will be temporarily closed for cleaning and behind the scenes maintenance in preparation to re-open on Saturday 15th February.
Our shop and visitor centre will be open as normal. Don’t forget you can catch Art in the Barn every Wednesday to Sunday until February 2nd.

Art in the Barn returns this weekend! Our annual exhibition and art sale is a the perfect opportunity to experience the wealth of artistic talent and creativity in Kirklees, and to support local artists.

Dear visitors. Please note the Hall, Visitor Centre and Cafe will be open over the Christmas period as follows:-
Tuesday 24th Christmas Eve Shop and Toilets open. Hall and Café closed.
... Wednesday 25th Christmas Day All buildings closed, including the Top Car Park.
Thursday 26th Boxing Day Shop and Toilets open. Hall and Café closed.
Friday 27th Shop, Cafe and Toilets open. Hall closed.
Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th Everything open, including the Hall.
Monday 30th Cafe and Toilets open. Hall and Shop closed.
Tuesday 31st New Year’s Eve Shop, Hall and Toilets open. Café closed.
Wednesday 1st January New Year’s Day Shop, Hall and Toilets open. Café closed.
Thursday 2nd Everything open, including the Hall.
Friday 3rd Shop, Cafe and Toilets open. Hall closed.

UPDATE: Our Oakwell Volunteers want to say a massive thank you to all who supported their Christmas craft stall at the beginning of December. The stall raised over £500 and the volunteers have donated £150 of this to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It was a real team effort to make everything which involved family and friends too. All wood used was grown on site or recycled.
