This weekend we helped a special little girl celebrate her 5th Birthday with crafts, vintage tea party and a guest visit from Queen Elsa! What a lovely group - Thank you for celebrating with us! Another weekend of celebrations at Occasions! On Saturday we welcomed a group for a Baby Shower, in the evening we hosted a Hen celebration with Afternoon Tea and wine glass painting! Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Ariel to the Tea Room for our Little Mermaid themed tea party! We’ve had a blast thank you for choosing Occasions!

Yesterday saw us host a bridal party for a lovely group of ladies - thank you for choosing to celebrate with us and all the best for the big day!

We'll be putting on the Ritz on Sunday 2nd September with our 1920's themed Afternoon Tea with singer Francesca Sutton and a glass of pink gin included to get you in that Gatsby swing!
Vocalist Francesca will be performing, treating us to the delightful sounds of swing. 1920's dress most welcome!

You hosted my daughters cake decorating birthday tea party and I couldn't have been happier. The food was fabulous and the sugar craft was so wonderful you kept 11 girls in line beautifully. Thank you very much. HIGHLY recommended 5*

What a wonderful experience at Santa’s Work Shop. 3 marvellous elves � made it a truly magical experience. Kids absolutely loved it (and so did we adults). Christmas crafts, drawing, singing and presents left for the children from Santa (who is obviously very busy in the North Pole). Yummy yummy yummy sandwiches for adults and children, homemade mince pies delicious. All in all perfect festive experience. Well done amazing elves - your interaction with the children was just magical! We will be back!

We have just had my daughter's 6th birthday party here and couldn't fault it. Emma was fantastic. The girls all had a pampering whilst drinking juice from the beautiful china � Emma served a lovely afternoon tea for the girls and they all had such fun.

We attended Santa’s workshop this evening and really enjoyed it !! The staff were amazing and put on a lovely Christmas experience for both adults and children xx my boys loved it !! Thank you lovely ladies xx.

Took the in-laws for an afternoon treat in the quaint Occasions Tea Room. Most of us had the Cream Tea, two with fruit and two with cheese scones served with chutney, which they loved. Plenty of Tea, a delicious Latte and a milkshake. All good from us. Many thanks for the brilliant hospitality, too.

This place is everything a Tea Room should be and more! The decor is beautiful and creates a fantastic ambience.



The staff are so lovely, helpful and accommodating.



The food looked amazing and tasted amazing!

Lovely first visit to this quaint,vintage tearoom. As a local resident I never usually visit Syston for food/drink.My friend had been before and recommended it. We were able to catch up without being hurried.Glad to be able to get Decaf tea(not always available elsewhere).Lemon and blueberry cake was delicious. Despite the small venue,we did not feel at all crowded. Will definitely be back to try the afternoon tea� Well done all. Xx

I love this place. From the decor , the food , the friendly atmosphere to the lovely people who run it. I cant think of a nicer place to go for a cuppa and a cream tea Delicious. So much more than a tea room. XX

A warm welcome guaranteed. Home made cakes served on beautiful plates!!! Love this place. Highly recommended.

Venue is pretty and in a good location.

Over priced I felt. Sandwiches were rubbish, the bread was torn on 3 or 4! Just basic bread nothing special.

For £42 for 2 adults & 1 child I expected a bit more than a basic afternoon tea, some coloring with blunt pencils, a mask to color in and a money box activity.



Had high hopes but left disappointed.

Nice cakes shame about the boring sandwiches that would be suited for a kids birthday party ,rude staff, management that can't handle constructive criticism, and lacks customer service skills! Check the staff mood before going in as it seems how you are treated is based on what sort of day they are having! �
