Something a bit different, how about a steering wheel refurbishment. Colour looks superb and blends in perfectly with the rest of the pick up truck this came out of. Look out for pictures of this vehicle soon.

It’s been a while since I’ve spent some time in the paint shop here at OCS, Dan’s Nova in for a bit of TLC for next season as the car makes its long awaited return. Roll cage already painted so lots of careful masking there as well. Spraying certainly the easier part of this job...

Whilst Dan & Nic are away work progresses at a rapid pace in the OCS workshops with project cars really coming on well. One of our long term cars is so close to completion (watch this space very soon for an update). Bruce the Camaro is in final paint after some repair work and although not at the main workshops, check out the progress on the 55 Chevy that Keith is building.
We are also delighted to welcome Arron Painter to the team and although only a few days in he has settled in nicely and has an eye for detail that is so important to us.

Just one week after this stunning Baracuda was delivered back to its owner, it wins ‘Best Mopar’ at the weekends A.A.C. Show in Bromsgrove. Congratulations Alan 👍👍, thank you for letting the team at OCS transform your car into a show winner.

How about this for an amazing transformation. This Baracuda came with the instructions “I want it Yellow and it must stand out”. Body taken back to bare metal then some tricky repairs done. Colour chosen by OCS, Car delivered back to its owner at the Mopars event at Santa Pod. I’d say mission accomplished and an extremely happy customer.

So busy in the paint shop with on-going projects so the ‘55 has had to take a back seat.....but with 4 of us in the top workshop last night and a bunch of panels ready to be test fitted and gapped off we went. Great progress and a late finish, Nic even went for it with the grinder to cut the rear wheel arches....it’s going to take time, but perfection always does.

So busy at the main workshops so the new race car has taken a while to take shape, but work is progressing well. Lots of new panels as not much of the old body was even remotely usable. Axle done, front suspension all installed and CalTracs positioned. See.....we hadn’t forgotten about the 55.

Despite our instance of Chevy Orange, we are delighted that Fast Company are chuffed to bits with the end result.

Something a little different for the team to strip down in preparation for a colour change. Bearing in mind that this is a tow vehicle for a certain local Pro Mod Mustang we all know, I wonder what colour this will be....

4 days to go then it is Open Day here at OCS and Williams Bros. Racing. Lots of work going on behind the scenes to make sure we look as good & tidy as possible. Workshops and paint shop closes Thursday so that everywhere can be cleaned and swept. Lots of shuffling our current project cars around as lots of display cars arriving Friday. The weather forecast looks good for the day so we hope plenty of cars will fill the display field. Temporary direction signs printed, look out for these on the day. See you there

How about this for a transformation. New bonnet fitted and our signature ‘painted stripes’, no stickers or vinyl here. Lots of individual areas colour coded, check out all of the air intake grilles. The pinstripe theme continues onto the door mirrors. Take a look at the Mustang on the front grille, not our work but we love it anyway. What a fantastic looking car from the team at OCS Paint.

55 Chevy update.... chassis back from powder coating and looks absolutely superb. As you would expect, this will be a stunning race car from the teams at OCS and Williams Bros. Racing. Lots of parts ordered and will be arriving in the new year.

Say hello to the new Williams Bros. Racing race car that will make it’s Santa Pod debut at the Easter Thunderball. As Dan & Nic have basically stolen the Chevelle from Keith, this is his new ride. Full on project, lots of new panels ordered, chassis away being blasted. Engine will be a high revving 302, TH 350 trans, going to be an absolute stunner and will aim to run in the 11’s on unleaded.... better get a move on then guys.....

What a fantastic show. We were delighted by the response from everyone that visited our stand at the Classic Car Show over the 3 days. We would like to thank Unusual Rigging, Northampton, The Flightcase Warehouse, Addison Print, Doug Tait Design & Visualisation, James Oliver and the fantastic team at Williams Bros. Racing and OCS Paint who are Dan, Nic, Ash, Smithy, Brendan, Keith, Colin and Louis, Cheers guys, you made our first show a tremendous success. Will we be back, hell yea....bigger and even better next year.

Day 1 at the Classic Car Show and as the day draws to a close we can finally take some pictures of the stand without hoards of people around.
