About Parklands Nursery School
Learning through play indoors and outdoors.
Parklands Nursery School offer full time, part time and funded places for children aged 3-5 years.
Parklands Nursery School Description
Parklands Nursery School have created a warm and friendly atmosphere where children and their families feel welcome and valued. We provide a stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors, a space for children and parents and practitioners to learn together.
We feel it is important to create an environment that is supportive of children’s and their families’ individual needs and development. The outdoors is a continuing space for learning and play and is available throughout the day, whether the child is in Nursery or Lunch Club.
Learning is a continuous process and children’s experiences at home are as important as their experience within the Nursery.
We work in partnership with parents in promoting children’s learning and recognise that the parents are the most important agents in a child’s education.

Baby Massage
We are delighted to now offer a 4 week Baby Massage course, which will be held at Parklands Nursery School and Playgroup on Thursdays 10.30-11.30.
The courses will be run by a fully qualified Infant Massage Instructor, we aim to provide a safe, relaxing atmosphere for you to spend some quality time with your little one.
... The next Baby Massage Course will be starting on Thursday 7th March.
We will provide wipe-able mats, a booklet with all strokes to practise at home and the all-important cup of tea! Please bring along oil that is suitable for your baby to massage with.
The sessions are £5.00 per week.

Exciting New!
Michael Ellis our local MP will be joining us for our Christmas Come and Play on the 14th December.
We are really looking forward to seeing you all there!
Don't forget that Father Christmas and Steve the Magician are coming to visit us for our Christmas Party on the 17th December during the normal Nursery session.
Remember to check the board for the Christmas party food list.
We are open 8:45 - 3:30 every week day in term time
We are really please to have been given lottery funding for our Monday afternoon Come and Play group. We will now be joined by a speech and language specialist every other week, and are really looking forward to meeting many more parent/carers and children.
Please come along every Monday in term time 1:30 - 3pm

Unfortunately the Monday afternoon group, playing together is cancelled this afternoon and will be back next week on the 5th November. Apologies for any inconvienence.
WELLY WALK ON WEDNESDAY 10TH OCTOBER
It is our Welly Walk with children and parents to Bradlaugh Fields on the morning of Wednesday 10th October. We will be leaving Nursery/ Playgroup at 9:15am, so please arrive at 9:00am. We will leave Bradlaugh Fields to return to Nursery/ Playgroup around 11:00am. If this is not your child’s normal day or if your child attends afternoon sessions, you are still very welcome to attend this walk. We will be providing a snack for all children while we are out.
Welcome to all the new children and parents at Parklands Nursery School, and welcome back to the children that have been with us before. It has been a really busy few weeks and it has been great to get to know you.
