An Aromaflexology treatment combines Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
The combination of these two therapies is a very powerful method for treating your client!
The course introduces basic reflex points on the feet in order to help with client analysis and assessment. A full reflex massage is also taught. The Aromatherapy Theory refresher day course aims to keep aromatherapists up to date and competent in their work. The course is run to the student’s requirements so that time is used to the maximum advantage and benefit of the students attending.

To mark Aromatherapy Awareness Week we sent our tutor Colette Somers off to the FHT to deliver a talk on essential oils! She covered research, therapeutic use along with warnings and potential dangers. Colette is so passionate about aromatherapy and runs our Penny Price Aromatherapy satellite academy in Winchester! - Assessment techniques... - Case Taking - Anatomy and Physiology relevant to baby massage - Safety - Contra-indications and precautions - Carrier oils and suitable massage mediums - Massage techniques for a full baby massage - Methods of teaching massage to mothers - Holism and nurturing - Common ailments - Allergies and sensitivities
The massages taught will be practised on dolls. Live models with their parents may be present for the afternoon, this depends on availability. Massage techniques will include strokes for newborn babies, toddlers and young children.
This course is to teach qualified therapists how to teach individuals or groups of mothers to massage their own babies and children. It can also be used to preform these massages professionally and to be qualified in this area.
