It's so important to keep up to date with your rabbits vaccinations. Even if they are indoor rabbits! Speak to your vet for further information/advice and get them booked in! 🐰🐰🐰

Hot weather can affect even our most tropical pets. Be sure to take care with your fish and reptiles in the heat!
Keep a close eye on the temperature of your tropical tanks. Turn the heater down a few degrees if necessary so the tank doesn't become too hot 🌡🐠
For rainforest dwelling reptiles such as geckos, frogs and some snakes, make sure to keep their vivarium full of moisture. Keep any moss, wet boxes or wood chips damp 🦎🐛
... Be sure to keep tanks and vivariums away from direct sunlight and make sure they're not housed in hotter rooms such as a conservatory. Keep curtains closed if necessary ☀️
Keep your live food in well ventilated cool areas so they remain healthy for feeding. Offer them a wet sponge to drink from or water gel 🦗
Keep your fish tank lights turned off as the bulbs will give off more heat 💡

Rabbits and Guinea Pigs can die in hot Hutches. Take a look at these tips to keep them cool and safe in hot weather
Move the hutch to a shaded area where possible. If there is no shade, provide them with a parasole or a sheet to create shade ☀️🌡
Use an ice pod or a frozen water bottle wrapped in a towel inside their hutch. Try to have spares to alternate when they melt ❄
... Place damp towels over the hutch and run roof 💧
Make sure they have plenty of water and change it at least once a day. Also remember to provide water in their runs! ☀️💧
Remember Guinea pigs ears can be sensitive to the sun and burn as there is no fur to protect the skin. Use a pet friendly sun cream on their ears to protect them 👂
Check on your pet regularly and at the first sign of distress contact a vet immediately

Cats are sun worshipers just as much as we are! But with all that fur they can overheat extremely easily
Provide access to cool spots around the house. Give them access to tiled floors, bath tubs and shaded rooms 🛁🏡
Play in the morning and evening when it's much cooler 🧶
... Brush your cat frequently. Any excess dead fur will hold in heat and insulate them even more 💇‍♀️
Offer multiple ways to cool off. See what your cat prefers. Whether it be a cold floor, a fan or laying in the shade 🌡
Make sure your cat has access to water at all times. Maybe consider a water fountain water feeder to encourage them to drink more during hot spells 💧
Familiarise yourself with signs of heatstroke and if in doubt speak to your vet straight away!
